I've been a bit stressed with it all this week and i'm worn out now - the orders have been non stop. I'm not moaning but it is tiring trying to get them all done.
Thankyou shelleyI know where I am going wrong now

hi Rusty,
I now use Bellag's wonderful swirling technique so now use 30 size 3's for a 3 tier. 16 on the bottom, 10 middle and 4 on top.0 -

I think I have it sussed, ... although it may well be changed again at this rate!
I have a perfect shaped 3 tier cake ... however to get that perfect shaped cake I have used 59 nappies (size 3) I know that a few of the nappies will be replaced with the vest and the sleepsuit as I am thinking about leaving them off the front of the cake ...
I know most of you use size 2 nappies and I know there is quite a big difference in size between the size 2 and size 3 nappy. Becs and Shelley do you use size 2 nappies? if so how many do you use for your top layer of your 3 tier?
I have
3 Tier - 59 nappies
2 Tier - 25 nappies
1 tier - 18 nappies
This is without any clothes added so as I said before I can remove some for the clothes. I remember doing my lovely pink cake and using just under 50 but these were size 1 nappies and it was a perfect cake ... so now I am thinking I am using too big a nappy
Isn't it funny how we can all get so stressed over a pack of nappies!
I've been the same this week.
I've been having a play, trying to work out once and for all the quantities of nappies to use, in order to put the info on my leaflets.
Made some up using my packs of ('Eroski's) spanish nappies (not the pamper ones) and they turned out great.
Then tried to do the same size in the pamper ones and realise they are much thinner/smaller !!!
At this rate I'll be booking a flight and fetching some more!!!!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
candy eroski nappies are brilliant i always buy them when i'm in spain. we usually go to caprabo (sp) supermarket and get them there the bonus is that they are loads cheaper than dodot (pampers) the eroski wipes are brilliant too. saves me spending a fortune and having to use half my luggage allowance on nappies n wipes. all the other baby stuff is so expensive... even in the cheapy tourisy shops they want a fortune for childrens clothes. bottles and toys are sooo expensive too!0
