Shelley and Rusty, do the creases come out of the tent? noticed in Rusty's pics they are noticeable on the cow cake pic but not on the tiger pic? Did you do anything different?
Thinking of buying one as I take all my pics in the conservatory and its a bit hit and miss with the light in there.

We have ironed ours and cannot get the creases out ... I think it is all to do with lighting to be honest as the cow pic was taken just before the tiger pic, only thing which was changed was the position of the lamp. Also depends on the focus on the camera aswell. We now have our backdrops rolled up rather than folded like they originally came

I haven't ironed mine but I tend to take pics at night when the lighting is not soo good so perhaps that helps in hiding some of the creases!

Hi everyone, Not been on here for a few days. Great cakes everyone!

Rusty – great vid of photo tent. Have watched it a few times (for tricky bit in middle) and think I will have to watch some more before I get the hang of it. Mind you – have not got my tent yet so I’m putting the “cart before the horse”!!! LOL.
Do you all use lighting and if so what????

Does anyone know where I can get the (small ) white dotty cello from in 60cm wide not the usual 80? I end up cutting a slice off before I start and its wasted as its too small to use on anything else. I’ve seen 60 wide in plain but not dotty.

Thanks lrlrip for the tip on Asda cake boards. I got a load yesterday and also got some square ones same price. Never used square before so will have to have a play.

Bella a girl from my own heart I've just had an urge to spend and ended up buying the wackiest wallpaper for a feature wall in my spare bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a big halogen lamp which we borrowed of FIL months ago and it is still here, it is very very bright as you probably noticed from the video as it was still turned on. its nothing professional but certainly does the job

As for the cello ... this company do hundreds of varietys of cello http://www.craftonline.co.uk/

However the cello is not listed on the website but you can order by phone. I buy my plain cello from there although I go to the warehouse to do so. I pay £4.80 for a 28 metre roll of plain cello.
Possibly worth a phone call. Their number is 0191 4167886 and they are called Dainty supplies.

lol! Fantastic buy well done you! You will have to post a pic...nothing better than wacky wallpaper to cheer you up!

I'm just waiting for my little one to wake up and I'm off to Costco to spend money I dont have...only thing is its so easy to over spend there...so many things you want but dont in any way need!

Hi ladies, just asking for a bit of advice from you experts

I have been trying to draw up some new leaflets to hopefully advertise in a few windows (my last ones looked so crap).
I have some photo's, a write up about them, but what else do I say ???

Not sure whether to put an example of what is in my 1 tier ???
Or should I list all 1, 2 and 3 tier contents ..........
But them I thought that that would make the leaflet look a bit busy.

Should I put my prices on for each 1, 2 and 3 tier cakes?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME, been sat at this computer for days now trying to work it all out, it's driving me nuts :mad:
