Thank you, it's normally £60 for 1 insertion and £162 for 3 insertions i have a half page advert (A5) which is cheap but luckly i get it free as it's my mother in laws Magazine.

You probaby all have one of these magazines in your area myself and my husband use to do one in our area as well its a free mag that comes through your door just advertising companys and usually has info on your community they are worth their weight in gold if you can advertise in them.

This was my first attempt at a nappy cake, my niece was born on the 11th so a perfect opportunity to try out all the wonderful ideas you have all given me through this thread, so thank you for that!! I ended up putting the bunny behind the top tier sort of holding it and taking the ribbon off the second tier too lol, im too fussy.xx
It ended up better than in the pic after fiddling about with it and undoing some things, had to do something everytime I walked past it grrrr lol xx

hey everyone...long time no post on here for me...but dont worry i've been lurking and loving hearing everyones updates and seeing the new cakes!! they look fabulous as usual!!!
hey rjh!! im in belfast too!!! your right nappy cake fever as far as nappy cake makers go definately hasnt hit our shores yet! which is great!! but nappy cake fever for baby gifts is definately getting hotter! lol!!!
hows your nappy cake sales going...
i find the best place to sell them is through work....every day i bring a cake in that someone has bought, i get more orders which is fab....but hard when working full time......sometimes my days are spent in work then straight home to make a nappy cake to bring in the next day!!! i was really glad when one day didnt have any orders, as i had a break that evening!!! lol....
i just love making them! only thing is they make me super broody!!! me and hubby dont have any kids YET! lolol!!!! but could be soon who knows as im so obsessed with buying stuff for htem..i swear that supermarkets must think i have a brood of about 12 the amount of nappies i end up buying!! lolol!!!!
anywho..nice to know a fellow nappy cake maker in our wee shores!!!! keep er lit! lol
will post a longer reply later to everyone as some nappy cakes i want to single out as just AMAZING!! when i have a baby...i am going to tell hubby about teh cakes on here so he can buy me and baby one!! tehehehe!!! as it would be a bit weird if i made my own!!!! lol

I've just finished a pink one that I need to deliver tomorrow and it was so nice to do pink for a change. It seems I only ever make blues and neutrals these days


Sorry its not a very good picture and it looks like the ribbon is dimpled on bottom tier but its ok in the flesh. I think my hands are shaky today because I could not get a piccie in focus today !!!!!

have sold four to friends. no sales from website yet. i am back to work in january but i work in a small place 15 employees so dont think i will get a lot of sales there. maybe i will wander about town carrying one to see if anyone asks me for a card!!

lol! believe it or not htat is a great idea!! everytime i bring a cake into work i always get dropped off in town then walk round to work!!! not so much now the weather is so bad!!!! but when the weather was a bit nicer yeah..and people would stop and ask and i'd give them a crd and i've sold a few that way!! so definately worth it.!!! :beer:

haha one day we'll see each other dandering around belfast carrying a nappycake each..people will think we are mad! lol
