    Sorry rjh090384,

I thought I'd replied to you but it obviously didn't post! I just use double sided sticky tape on mine because I know I would get into all sorts of mess with a glue gun!:rotfl: I use the florists polyribbon on mine and the tape works brilliantly.

how do u guys glue your ribbons? i got a glue gun but its quite messy and i worry i wil lget some on my blankets.
I am using glue dots or a little double sided tape.
If using florist ribbon, I also add a piece of sellotape on top of the join.

Candyb love your red and white cake. It looks really different with the "fresh" colours.
Thanks Moonpenny, although the photo doesn't do it justice, it does look better in the flesh, not so tiny looking too.
I can't believe my luck, everything is the same shade of red ...... the ribbon, photoframe, teddy's tshirt, socks ...... now that doesn't happen that often.

I am sure this nappy cake thing for me is just not meant to be!!!
My leaflets are never going to be printed.

I still can't get this flippin printer installed. I've got that many points where the lead could go  and nothing will work.
If the cable was like any other printer I have had, I'd of been alright. Suppose that's technology for you.

I was really looking foward to a week without my OH (a bit of peace), now I am actually realising he does come in quite useful sometimes :rotfl:and there was me saying he wasn't very technical when it came to computers!!!

    Hi everyone,

Just finished my first 2 Tiers!

Absolutely fantastic Moonpenny! How do you manage to get your outsides so smooth? What are they - a baby towel?

Thanks ladies for your comments – all gratefully received!!! (though they look a bit pasty after all the lovely colourful Chrissy ones)

Kitiaracat – clothes are just bog standard 3pk sleepsuits from Asda. They have been used many times on this forum I think! They are nice quality though.

Sorry to hear about your craft fair but hey! YOU SOLD 2. At least you have had the guts to do it, unlike me. Lol.

Bellag – the toys were HB and the blankets from a similar store called BM bargains or something like. They were really cheap at £1.99 but great quality. They are a little bigger than the others I have been using and had a right job folding them.

Please don’t change your design – I love all your cakes.

I would love to make a Chrissy cake but no orders and it’s too late now so I’ll have to wait till next yr. ((Already got some stuff though!) He! He!

Shelley – another M&S 20% off day next Thurs. I think!!!

Sorry Moonpenny - I should have read down to hear before sending my last reply. Just couldn't wait, they were so great!:T

They look like the fluffy baby blankets sold for £2.99 in Home Bargains - they are so soft and lovely.
They sell the TY horse toppers too for £1.49 I think. I bought one for my H's cousin's cake. :)
