Thanks Julie, I forgot to say website is becsbabycakes.co.uk it's very simple at the mo as DH did it in a couple of hours last night, he will develop it a bit further and make it look a bit flashier but just wanted to get something up for today.

  • Hi all fabulous cakes as always.

Well done on your fairs - wish I had the guts to do something like that.

I've just had a look at your site becs and love it (especially the pink) but wonder if you could have a wee look at the spelling? - sorry to be a pain in the (please chose word of own choice) but your cakes are so lovely and you know how funny posh people can be about tiny details ;).
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

 I keep losing my posts!!!

As I am rather impatient and couldn't wait for OH to email me the photo's for my leaflets, I have been out and brought another teddy and photo frame.
So here is a duplicate of my last xmas one......

    th_Picture006-2.jpg

    16 x Nappies £2.88
    Teddy £0.99 (Card Warehouse)
    Photo Frame £1.99 (Card Warehouse)
    Vest, white £0.50 (Tesco's)
    Baby Gro, white £1.25 (Tesco's)
    Santa Socks £1.00 (Woolworths)
    Total £8.61

(The front nappy is a bit pushed out, but due to forgetting the socks, so had to use DD's socks (age 4)!!!)

    Hi Padingtondoo,

Not a pain in anything! I spotted a couple earlier and need to amend them. That's what comes of trying to do an entire website in 2 hours at midnight the night before you need it! Oh that and a laptop that only has welsh spellcheck! Most useful!

    Thanks Bellag,

It's not the speediest way of putting cards through but worth it if it means not turning away a sale. Another problem I had was I didn't know how I could enter any discounts or codes to remove p & p so had to do partial refunds for people to refund p & p charge. I did explain this to them though! I'm sure I've seen mobile broadband advertised somewhere as a pay as you go type thing which may be worthwhile. DH has one for work so I pinched it for today!

    Thanks RF,
I think I'm still in a state of shock at seeing people spend money like that! :rotfl:

    Paddingtondoo,
I've gone through the site and changed a fair few spelling mistakes as well as Nut Brown Hair instead of Hare! :rotfl: DH is very good at doing site for me but a dreadful speller, bless! Would appreciate anyone pointing out any I've missed!
