Hi Girls,
Long time no speak but still having problems and can only access this website with my password via internet explorer and that is never working!!!!
Becs - did you get the link off the ebay seller from Bellag? If not let me know and I will send it to you. Sounds like you are really busy this week.
I'm doing 2 fayres at the end of the week and due to work commitments haven't made any up at all!!!!! Panicking a bit now!!! Good luck with the photo cube lol
Moonpenny - I managed to get the last 2 santas on M&S but gutted they didnt have any snowmen. Only managed to get 1 reindeer too - I ordered 6 in total and with all the discounts only paid £14 delivered. Bargain!! Only problem though they may not get here in time for the fayres so I may have to get a substitute.
Hope everyone is ok and love catching up on the thread - just wish I could come on here more xxLittle Miss Chatterbox

Hi Shelley,
Yes Bellag gave me the details thanks. We're missing you on here! I've made 8 cakes today and they are massively quicker using Bellags swirling method. I rolled my clothes to use in the centre then laid out 6 nappies in a line in front of me staggered, then put my roll of clothes on the line and rolled them up and put a band round, then repeated it. I used 16 nappies on my bottom tier and 10 on my middle tier so did 2 rows of 5 on that one. It takes minutes!
Here's a couple of two tiers I've done.[/IMG]

I haven't tried the swirling method but I'm a bit of creature of habit so will stick will rolling at mo. My mum has been rolling them for me so its much quicker then.:DLittle Miss Chatterbox

Becs they look amazing! Well done!
Jess if you have 34 nappies you won't need another 20. In most of my cakes I only use 34 ... sometimes I make them a little bigger and use 45 but thats it!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Thanks RF and Shelley.
Shelley, I'm really chuffed with the pics, did them in the photocube tonight with my little 4 meg pixel camera. Tried with the white background and they were rubbish. Then used the blue one and that's how they came out. Just been designing a brochure, fairly happy with it but dh is going to take it into the office tomorrow and get their designer to have a tinker with it to make it look a bit more pro. Fancy getting your mum to do the rolling! :rotfl: You should have a play around with swirling, it is so easy and so quick! Definately won't go back to rolling now!
Junior_j,
definately agree with Rusty about the nappies. My 3 tiers that I do I now use 28 nappies so you already have plenty.

Have to say Becs it works so well with the darker background! Wish you and shelley loads of luck for your upcoming fairsRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

Thanks Rf,
I'm no photographer and no flashy camera just the cube and a couple of desk lamps. Very pleased, a very worthwhile investment off ebay! Going to try the red background with my xmas cakes tomorrow.

or if it's already explained in this thread - can you point me towards it?Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Hi Louise,
Have a look at page 78 for "swirling!
Becs - your cakes are looking gorgeous! I'm sure you will sell loads! Liked the background colour of your pics.
Shelley - I went to Meadowhall on M&S sale day and they had loads of all the toys you mentioned. Pity I didn't know, I could have sent them to you.
Good luck with your fairs !!!0
