Afternoon ladies
I have been shopping for ribbons for my nappy cake that I need to make up over the next couple of days ... whilst I was out I saw some of the teddies Becs is using on her cakes the peter rabbit ones, just wondered how much you pay for yours becs if you don't mind me asking as these ones were quite cheap.

Hi RF,
The Peter rabbits are £4.52 each plus p & p. They are the larger "my first peter rabbit" ones that are £8.95 in John Lewis. They are from the official distributor of Beatrix Potter.

Blimey that is cheap :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: cheaper than up here ... not to worry thought I would mention it incase they were cheaperRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
I was hoping you would say that! I've bought them direct from the manufacturer so would have been well cheesed off if they could be bought less retail than cost price. I'm really really chuffed with them and think they are well worth the extra couple of pounds I'm paying to what I was paying on Asda toys. I think they make the cakes look alot more expensive because they're a recognised toy on them, people know branded charachters cost more.
My 3 tier cakes will include a boots mini mode 2 piece outfit, a john lewis sleepsuit, a john lewis bodysuit, a minimode bib, waitrose baby bottom butter, waitrose solid coconut massage oil, john lewis fleece blanket, 2 muslins, the beatrix potter toy or m & s on the xmas ones, and appx 33 nappies. Will be selling them for £65.0 -
Sounds great Becs
Heres the one for OH's cousin ... I am hoping he will drop it round this weekend when he gets home.
