Thanks RF, I am proud of this one as it's alot more colourful and alot more bits on the outside than I normally do. My friend is definately a vibrant person so sure she'll love the cake! Can't wait to give it to her! She lives down near my Parents and I'm going down to see them at the weekend so keeping fingers crossed she'll have had baby by then!
Bravobeastie the cake looks lovely. I love the feathers.0 -
Well I did it, and it worked really well, I'm so pleased with it!
I used about 30 Pampers Newborn nappies, 8 vests, 5 bibs, a bottle of talc in the centre and a patterned muslin cloth around the base, plus lots of ribbon and a gorgeous blue baby Mickey Mouse topper.
It's only for me, so the items were things I already had waiting for baby's arrival. I don't think I'll want to ever take it apart myself though LOL! But I'm definitely going to make more for friends who are expecting soon.
Will post pictures in daylight tomorrow.0 -

cakes look lovely liz.
just a thought that you could photo them without the cello on and then have a separate page showing how they are wrapped.
i found it a tad difficult to see what they looked like with the reflection from the cello.
Just my opinion thoughOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
