    Hi everyone,

Cakes are looking good as usual. Leni, your green and cream cake is lovely and I love your teddy. Where did you get him from?

Am in the middle of making a xmas cake. Havn’t got an order; I just wanted to have a go. LOL! Thinking about it though, the clothes are 0 – 3 mths and there is only 2 mths left – mums probably won’t want to dress their babies in festive stuff after the event. What do you all think? I just thought, if I don’t sell it then I would take it to bits and save for next yr.

Can I ask you all what you think of Shawls? Do you think they are old-fashioned? I have found some lovely fringed white ones but am not sure if people would want a Shawl.

P.S. I got the £1 blankets too. They are nice but not very thick so on the ingredient label I am going to call them receiving blankets.

Leni your cake looks fab! Well done :)

Moonpenny, I love shawls, except no one bought me one for my daughter I had 2 or 3 for my son though and used them loads. I think some people find them old fashioned but I generally see babies with shawls rather than fleece blankets/other blankets so maybe give it a go?

Well to be honest if she wants them then she needs to pay for any extras. Why not tell her they are X amount but if you want a christmas bauble in it then that will be extra unless she wants to provide the christmas baubles then the amount will still be x amount?

She can't have her cake and eat it so to speak.
