Hi guys,
Here's my latest 3 tier for a boy. Was for an order at work, took it in yesterday and showed the lady it was for and she said it was lovely but it was meant to be for a girl! Whoops! Been so busy doing boys I don't know what got into my head! Luckily she doesn't need it until thursday so will now do a pink!
This is one I'm doing for my friend who's due any day. Not finished yet, you can't really see the colour properly but the blankets are lemon and the muslin is white! I want to get another brightly coloured toy for the top instead of the neutral elephant. I'd also like to add some spotty yellow ribbon to finish it off.

Meh, anyone every done a cake and just not 'felt' it looks right?
Started my first blue one today and for some reason I just dont think its working....
Am going to finish it though with ribbon etc and see what I think then
Although Im convinced this one looks smaller than my last even though Ive used the same things!!!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
Fairly Often Kr15snw! I find it sometimes helps to take photos and look at the photos, the camera tends to show problem areas more clearly. Is it the proportions you're not happy with? That's my usual, especially with toys! Often find toys difficult if they're too big or too small they make the entire cake look wrong.

Wilkinson's had Huggies size 2 on 1/2 price (£3 instead of £5.98 I think) shelf was empty though  . Sill not got round to doing my cake but am collecting all the 'Ingredients' and have a day off next week so may get crafty:kisses2:Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.audaces fortuna iuvat fortune favours the bold0

becs, Im happy with the proportions but am convinced the cake is smaller than my last one. And seeing as this one is going into work as well Im paranoid theyll think Ive short changed them!!
Also the toy I got for it is really really suckyThink I may end getting the little teddies at Asda tomorrow with a blue t shirt, although Id rather have a completely blue toy

Do they have any of the elephants at your Asda? The same as the blue one on mine? I think They're very cute. I'm sure the teddy with blue t-shirt would look lovely as well.0
