    Hi Everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you to everyone who's posted over the last couple of weeks/months. Everyone's cakes looked so nice that I decided with all your ideas and photo's on here and a little help from the Boots thread to attempt my own.
    Finally got everything together last weekend and I'm really please with it. It looks great (even if I do say so myself), although I think I went over board because my cake has 80!! nappies in it, but it is for my sister so I wasn't watching the pennys too much. I'd post a photo but haven't got a clue how I go about it.
    For anyone looking for teddies etc for their nappy cake H&B had a lovely selection today. I got a pink TY rocking horse soft toy, but they also had others in different colours. Anyone doing a neutral cake they had a wonderful giraffe and they were all £1.49. Not for nappy cake but idea if anyone has a young daughter was a black cat with cloak and hat for Halloween.
    Thanks again everyone. I don't have anyone else to make a nappy cake for now so won't be able to put my new skill to much use.
    Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

    I had an idea for the lady doing the expensive nappy cakes (I'm sorry I can't remember your name)
    I wondered if these may be a novel idea to put in for baby boys. A pee pee teepee.

    Anyone doing a not so expensive version could probably make some yourself quite easily.
    If it was for a good friend there is a poem too.

    Changing a baby girl is not all glitz and glory;
    Changing a baby boy is an even bigger horror story.
    You hold his feet in one hand, and the nappy in the other;
    The whole time praying, "Please don't pee on your mother!"

    Just an idea.

    Hi everyone,not been on much as had an absoloute stinker of a headache yesterday and couldn't face the laptop! Loads of new posts.

    It's me doing the expensive cakes. Like the idea although would say it's a ridiculous price! Also not entireliy sure it's an image I want to really create if you get my drift! :rotfl:

    Bellag the twins cake is gorgeous! I love how you do the blankets but can't understand how you do it exactly. Love the website too! It's fab! Well done!

    Joto welcome to the most addictive thread going! 80 nappies! Whatever size was this cake it must be huge! You have to post a photo, would love to see! I use imageshack to upload my photos, it's really easy.

    Moonpenny your cakes are just as lovely but I know exactly what you mean, I feel like that when I see Bellag's creations!

    RF please don't use spellcheck that was a classic! :rotfl:

    Hi Becs, thankyou so much for the compliments :o Your cakes are fantastic! I tried rolling nappies but just couldnt get them to look as neat as all yours so all mine are just placed in a swirl around a central bottle if you know what i mean? Hence me having to cover them all up and place most of my item outside the cake as i cant remove rolled nappies and put the ingredients in. I admire the way you all make your cakes look so fatastically neat, pretty and professional with nappies on show. Mine looked dreadful when i tried!

    Hows your head? you couldnt keep me away from the laptop- i'm addicted! :D

    If it's Home Bargains I'm confused as I bought some TY toys in there a few weeks ago, including the giraffe, and they were only 99p?
    I am so bored tonight, is it too late to make a nappy cake?! LOL! How long do they take for a small 2-tier?
