Bella that looks fantastic! Well done you! I think the ribbon looks perfect on it, I think any darker and it wouldn't look baby like if that makes sense. This is just my opinion though so counts for nothing lol

Hi all,
I am always burning the midnight oil!!! Been trying to print some labels and it’s taken me ages. Cot some card and thought it would be easy but didn’t reckon on the size being awkward and getting everything to fit. I’m not technically minded so it’s been slow progress.
Shelly, I absolutely love your new cake! The colours are really new but it would have killed me to pay that for a blanket!!! Don’t get rid of the spotty ribbons – I love them and the brown ones with the duck look great.
Rusty, Sorry to hear you’re not well!! It’s tough when you’ve got little ones running about and all you want to do is stay in bed. Keep taking the tablets!!!!LOL
What you were saying about sizes of nappies for different ages. Could someone help me out here – Perhaps have a list of approximate sizes for ages! (I am reeallyyy old you see! And can’t go by my son cos he’s 35 LOL!!!) It would take a bit of the guesswork out of it..
Bellag your twin cake is lovely. Where do you get your lovely blankets from? Does anyone know where I can get white ones? (No Dunhelm near me)
I looked at your website and Wow! – I am well impressed, and to think you did it yourself it’s really professional. I have fallen out with my cakes since I have seen everyone elses.
Rusty – think you have been on the vino too much with your “quacky !!!!!!” Really made me laugh!!
Sorry all for the long post.0 -
Ooooh deary me!!! Think the tablets are affecting places they shouldn't be ... sorry ladies I meant duck! nothing else lol
Moonpenny I will see what I can come up with and see how much I remember of my daughter with regards to the sizes of nappies, as you can see its gone 2am and I haven't slept since yesterday afternoon for an hour so brain not functioning!
As for the vino I wish! However I don't drink and even if I did I would probably be in a pool of something witht he amount of tablets rattling round inside me at the minute!
Edit: my post has a lack of smiles!!! lol :rotfl: is that better?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

my daughter was in size 1 nappies originally for about 1 month then size two for 2 months. tehn at 3 months she was on size 3. now at five months we are on size 4. she is 16lbs but i thought the threes were a bit tight on her!
can anyone show me a back view of their nappy cakes! mine look rubbish at the back. for the mini ones a cant secure the muslin right so it doesnt go all flappy and the blankets on the 3 tiers just arent hapening. how do u secure yours to look all neat!! help!!love you lots like jelly tots0 -
I love these nappy cakes, they are all beautiful, well done.
My baby is due in 11 days but no-one else I know is this crafty/creative/thoughtful - would it be silly to make myself one?! LOL!0
