    Kelly,

    I use the sellotape sticky pads, just sticky enough to hold it in place. Then wrapping in cellophane holds it in place as well.Have sent mine via courier on their sides and arrived in place fine.

    Bellag,

    Head is fine today thanks so back getting my fix! I did drag myself to the Boots xmas evening last night as well but was in and out within 5 minutes! 4 big boxes of pampers and a couple of xmas sleepsuits and bibs for my xmas cakes for the fair. Didn't realise the deal on the mini mode xmas bits which was great. I'm only doing clothing in my 3 tier cakes for the fair and only doing 2 xmas ones so didn't go mad. However when we paid the assistant told me they were having other evenings and if I went to one of them I would get £15 of points for each £50 spend! I'm guessing that's because I went to the first one, if that's so I may well be going back for more!

    HI guys,

    How are you keeping your teddies on top? pins lil pegs? also same question for the accessories booties etc?

    Little strip of double sided tape

    I find once the cello wrap is tied on it keeps the teddy more secure

    I had an idea for the lady doing the expensive nappy cakes (I'm sorry I can't remember your name)
    I wondered if these may be a novel idea to put in for baby boys. A pee pee teepee.

    Anyone doing a not so expensive version could probably make some yourself quite easily.
    If it was for a good friend there is a poem too.

    Changing a baby girl is not all glitz and glory;
    Changing a baby boy is an even bigger horror story.
    You hold his feet in one hand, and the nappy in the other;
    The whole time praying, "Please don't pee on your mother!"

    Just an idea.

    Oh they have made my day! The things people come up with nowadays! I quickly learnt that if I undid my sons nappy then quickly flapped it open and closed and sealed it then I was quite safe ... my ex (his dad) never did learn .... oh and my son even pooped on his grandmas leg just as they were off out for a meal :rotfl: oh the memories!

    Hi everyone,not been on much as had an absoloute stinker of a headache yesterday and couldn't face the laptop! Loads of new posts.

    It's me doing the expensive cakes. Like the idea although would say it's a ridiculous price! Also not entireliy sure it's an image I want to really create if you get my drift! :rotfl:

    Bellag the twins cake is gorgeous! I love how you do the blankets but can't understand how you do it exactly. Love the website too! It's fab! Well done!

    Joto welcome to the most addictive thread going! 80 nappies! Whatever size was this cake it must be huge! You have to post a photo, would love to see! I use imageshack to upload my photos, it's really easy.

    Moonpenny your cakes are just as lovely but I know exactly what you mean, I feel like that when I see Bellag's creations!

    RF please don't use spellcheck that was a classic! :rotfl:

    Hope your head is better today :)

    Erm spell check ... whats that :rotfl:Glad I managed to amuse you guys! .... :rotfl:

    Becs we had an asda leaflet pushed through the door this morning .... they are doing the massive boxes of pampers roughly 120 in a box for £12 ... I think there may well be a few more in the smaller sizes but the one we picked up was size 4+ and £12 for a hugggge box :) may be worth it? although I know you don't get points etc :(

    Hi Rusty,

    I bought the big box of pampers or rather 4 of them at the xmas shopping evening. They were size 3 and each box has 104 nappies in and are usually £11.99 but were £9.99. So I got 416 nappies, 2 xmas sleepsuits and 2 xmas bibs for £51.21 and earned £12.04 in points. Bargain or what! Head is fine now until the next time! Hope you're feeling better now.

    Hiya,

    I use double sided sticky tape for teddies on top. Bobbly headed pins for securing booties to side of cake (two in each). sock roses- if they have stems then i pop them between blanket and nappies (or in the rubberband outside the nappies. If the socks have no stems then i just push them as far down as possible between blanket and nappies and hope for the best!

    Oooh even better bargain ... wonder if I can convince OH to go buy some for me .... :) well not me personally but you know what I mean :rotfl: Definate bargains you seem to have got! That should make plenty of nappy cakes lol

    I am still poorly at the mo ... lack of sleep really isn't helping the situation either, tablets are not working and painkillers aren't helping so all in all a bag of rubbish! I am supposed to be working tomorrow aswell.... Can see that being fun trying to work a bar with a swollen face :mad: and heaps of pain!
