I have only ever bought one "yet"I think Rustyflange has posted previously that she was paying 50p (don't know what size) she will probably be on later and be able to give you more information.
Hi I have paid 50p a few times, I only use a thin one though rather than the thicker kind as these do a good enough job without adding more expense. If you have one of them weigh and save type shops where you can get washing powder/food etc without the packaging and it is all weighed out they generally stock cake boards, or if you look on ebay you can get white plastic discs in 5's, 10's etc which also cuts the cost down, this is ideal if making more than one cake. Failing that if you have a local cake shop then they will normally sell you one in a size you would like. Then you need to think if you want square or round ... Square nappy cakes are great and just as easy to make ... I made a smaller bathtime nappy cake which is actually rectangular looks great though. This is just a quick picture of one I made.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
