    wow thatsreally good.
can i ask how do you wrap the towel or blnket round like that?
Jpwittle, you just fold it to the height of the nappies then wrap round and it is secured in place with the ribbon. :)

Thanks for sorting the pics Rusty and to everyonefor all your kind comments.I couldnt have done it without everyones help
It's really nice :T Did you make the flowers, they are beautiful.
I bought the flowers (canna lilies)which if i remember correctly were actually made of foam, just trimmed the wires and slotted them into the cake.
Hoping to do a 2 tier one so need to get shopping for some bits and bobs to hide inside.

    Hi Kizzy
I noticed your nappies are blue and white, may I ask what make they are and also if they do pink? I have just bought pampers and am attempting my first nappy cake (I have started rolling the nappies  ) but I think yours with the blue blanket look great :T
I'm afraid I am not very creative and am just pinching other peoples ideas :D

Hi Crystal, sorry I know you didn't ask me but as I am a mum and still using nappies on my princess .... Tescos own nappies have blue/purple in them, as do Pampers activefit. I have tried most brands on the market and never come across any pink ones ... wish I had as I would use thm on my little one :)

p.s the tesco own nappies are the ones in the purple pack :)

Thanks for that Rusty. They would look pretty in pink wouldn't they?

I have two cakes to do for two friends who are having their first grandchildren so I did buy a big pack of Pampers, bought size 3 after reading your comments so have enough (I think) but thought I'd ask for future reference. It's been a long time since I bought nappies, my youngest is 18
Must get stuck in and finish them now, I have a pink and a blue one to make and the blue one is due any day.

Should be plenty there, but depends on how many tiers you plan to make etc. If you need any help let me know and I will try to help out as much as I can.

    Congrats to your friends.

I can't believe what I have just come across, a cake made of toilet rolls !!!!!!

    http://www.countrygardencreations.com/toweldiapercakes.htm

Cake contains: 16 rolls of toilet paper, toilet brush, air freshener spray, toilet deodorizer, 2 bowl cleaner tablets, and scented toilet paper roller. Toilet Paper Cakes are also embellished with ribbon and artificial flowers.

    How funny is that ????
