Was so tired yesterday, managed 7000 steps, got home from work, walked Duncan then slumped in front of a film for the evening. Bf did some shopping so not a NSD.

NSD number 14 for me today thou, and I've clocked up a more impressive 15,000 steps. Bf is working late so I'm going to enjoy the piece and quiet while it lasts.

Somehow I have managed 12 NSDs. Which is much better than it felt.

On the exercise front I have been to the gym everyday except the three days DH was away and I had kids 24/7, well, 24/3. I usually head off to the gym while DH is still in bed asleep at the weekend but would never leave them alone, so had to sack off three sessions. Hopefully the results will start to show soon - 10lbs down so far. 4 inches off the waist but tbh I cant see it yet. It will come.

I have been reading and running this month, sorry not to have been commenting, was just a crazy month and laptop decided to have a meltdown so on a 'new to me' laptop I am slowly getting used to.

I used to be 17 stone, got down to 11 at my smallest (back up to 14 now but working on it).
I didn't notice differences day to day, but one day I looked at my hands and was amazed to find I had wrist bones, looked down at my feet and I had ankles!
You don't always see it, but you'll spot something at some point that will show off your hardwork :)

    Evening all...

Has been aaaaaages since I last wrote - sorry!!!

No excuse other than being tired, a bit run down, and feeling 'out of control' with everything...

An opportunity arose at work to do some overtime, and put in 20 hours over the last 2 weeks - but it has nearly killed me. I've been in bed by 9pm most nights - and not felt inclined to do much other than switch off playing games. Last week I didn't exercise at all and meditation was sporadic. On the plus - my NSDs have been accumulating and I haven't had any mad wild spending sprees.

Pay Day today - and got a load of back pay... so feel ready to re-visit my finances and try and get my head around everything. Buying my new car threw a bit of a spanner in there... I went to transfer my deposit from one card to a 0% transfer card - and I can't. Because it's an Amazon card - for some reason - you can't transfer balances from them to other cards - so the interest is going to kick in pretty sharpish - best laid plans, right...? I've been seeing how I can try and clear it asap which isn't going to happen all in one go. It's not the end of the World - just an inconvenience.

Anyway - I hope everyone has been ok - I'll have a catch up on posts over the next day or so. Big hugs all x

Had another good day at work today. I've put in for overtime this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) four hours each so that should help the penny situation. I won't see it until next month though!

Today has been spendy so no new news there.

I'm grateful that my laptop worked st home this evening as it means I should be able to do the overtime!!

today I am grateful for not getting too wet, for catching up with an old friend at last, for dh being his usual wonderful self, for a useful chat with big sis, for dd starting in her new class and thoroughly enjoying it, for making a healthy dinner out of 'nowt', for 85% chocolate, for time with dd, for getting on with some bunting, for a comfy bed.

Lovely catching up with your posts. Sounds like some great exercise has gone on so far - 4 inches!!? I'd be happy with that!!
I've been keeping on top of my 10k training, the race is the 9th. It's been consistently hard but I'm loving it. Did 70 minute run on Sunday and managed 12k - I'm told by my younger, fitter cousin that this is 'decent '. I'm hoping for a 10k in under an hour and that seems plausible.
Work wise, less than 3 weeks left. Leavers performance in full swing. Observation in the morning - I'm thinking of it as the last big thing and I've got money ready to treat myself to chocolate afterwards.
    So not much to report.
    Grateful for:
    my pre paid gym card
    My gorgeous son
    My colleagues, especially my TA
The short hop to the holidays
