They've missed the point of the thread because they've posted at length about something not relevant to the key point being raised.Legal team on standby0 -

Of course you have, because you have not provided a counter argument. In fact, you openly state that there isn't a counter argument against the point I've raised. The website you think is 'legitimate' is shyster.0

It's a cracking way of debating.
Encourage people to pay money to a rip off website for a service they don't need rather than go direct and save a not insignificant amount of money.
Not going to the rip off website obviously means that no one will use the official free website, and so suffer huge losses and hassle when they don't have an ehic card.
What's wrong with that logic?
It does appear that this poster is associated with the rip off website as he hasn't quoted and denied my point earlier by the way.0 -

I'm not encouraging anything, just pointing out a situation where these companies can offer a solution.
And it's a very poor, but typical MSE response - if a poster supports a particular company or profession then they must clear be involved. I'll add EHIC card services to my growing list of accountant, estate agent, lawyer, parking enforcement, and other professions I'm not part of.Legal team on standby0 -

I've gone back to the OP and I can't see how 'this third party provide a valuable service'.
I'm really not sure that you are reading the same thread as everyone else.
So you'd take your chances without a card ? Your choice, but potentially a very costly mistake.Legal team on standby0
