Evening all.
It was lovely to get off work early
I popped into the small Mr T on the way past and they had a pack of organic lamb mince reduced by just over 50% so I bought that and a couple of aubergines and made moussaka. I worked out I've not made it for around 20 years :rotfl: I wasn't sure how it would go down with DS (he hates aubergines) but he loved it and had seconds! I have enough to freeze for another day too.
The garden has had a good watering and I picked a couple of peonies, they are double ones and the heads are so heavy they droop and touch the floor and get wet and dirty. I must put in some sort of framework early next year for it to grow through. I have left them in a glass outside so the bees can still get to them. Tonight was the first time I got to use some of my new potted herbs, it felt good just going out and snipping a bit off instead of going to a shop!
Today was payday so I should do some moving around of monies to remind myself it's not all mine

Morning everyone,
That was a hot and sticky night. We had some rain fall overnight but not too much and judging by the forecast it's going to get warmer by afternoon time.
I'm bagging a few moments to myself before the rest of the house all get up. Today will be a NSD and I really need to keep the purse shut as I received a call from the fraud dept from the bank called yesterday saying there had been lots of activity on my card  It was all down to me as I had been to several shops yesterday and usually I don't have so many transactions on one day. Still I'm glad they did their job and checked up
Today's list:
* Hoover and tidy up the house
* Put on a couple of loads of washing and hang outside if it remains dry
* Complete some surveys
* Drop DD to her friends birthday party
* Get in a home workout later today
* List some Ebay items
Have a lovely day everyone x0 -
Well I haven't seen the car since Wed but my DD has taken to going out around YS time- £2.40 turkey slices for 24p the other night. Apple turnovers, bread u name it
The weather still very humid, rained last night but don't know whether we had a storm.
It was absolutely baking yesterday, did get out into the garden. Pansies now in and started to tidy up the garden.
Paperwork done-small amount to do this morning but that should be it
Cat cleaning all done, but general housework slipping, just haven't had time.
Taking DD and her friend to training tonight, takes 1 1/2 hours to get there but well worth it as they both have trials for Wales coming up.
Have a great day everyone

Morning all :coffee:
I have survived to half term!
And I've managed to swap the work stress for home stress. I am so pleased that I've brought my kids up to be honest and resilient but it doesn't half get the pair of them into trouble sometimes.
Quiet day planned for me today - tutoring, and just heading off to bestie's house for coffee and a catch up. I also need to start making an attempt at decluttering and tidying up.
I'm going to head off and make a start before the thunderstorms set in...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Good Afternoon All
HK's DD - Congrats on your driving test, my niece passed the same day
The sun's shining on and off and we've had one really quick heavy rain shower. Had a few really low but busy days, hubby still on track for his op but both me and DS are getting more nervous by the day. Have decided to clear our DVD cupboard as we haven't watched DVDs for months now, have checked 3 different sites for trade-in and picked the best (made £60 so far) and listed a few on facebook for £1 each, still lots to go through. Today's plans:
Check Bank & make PAD
Shopping with list
Collect freebies through COS
Upload receipts to COS
Pack DH's bag for admission (and also bag for me to take when he's out of intensive care)
Pamper time
Continue purge on emails
Enter a few comps
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Check: Lucky Phone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL
Have a great weekend all!

Afternoon all!
I woke late yet still have dark circles round my eyes, we're talking like those joke telescopes that leave a big black ring. I'm going to have a nap in a minute.
I've been to the garden centre (spent too much but some will be going back) and the supermarket and I've done several loads of washing. I'm packing DSGF's as it dries, I hope that doesn't look like I'm glad to be rid of her but she has a LOT of clothes.
I still need to pack up my Ziffit trade from last night, I think I've found a suitably-sized box. I forgot to buy cat treats so I might be able to coincide that with the Y S run.
Hope you're all having a good day. Welcome AmaraMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
