Dawn, do you have a spare dog lead you could put on so you both have one?

I have tried this, but it terrifies the dog and he refuses to move :o He is very small and feels vulnerable to being trodden on or whatever, I think.

    SHE PASSED!!!!!:):):):):)
And is now out and about in my car......as soon as we got home I got her on the insurance. So far she has been shopping at 2 supermarkets, taken my mum for a drive and went to visit her friend:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I had a gut feeling she would pass, she was doing so much better with this driving instructor. Her first driving instructor was awful and DD really hated the lessons. My niece was having lessons with the husband of DDs first instructor. He used to make my niece stop at the shops so he could go in and buy vodka:eek:
I've never been so nervous in my life, waited in Mr Ts cafe stuffing my face (must start cutting down) and then went to get shopping before waiting for DD.

ziggy fingers crossed that DH operation goes ahead. There is nothing worse when an operation is cancelled.

  • Morning sorry no time to read posts - I'll try to tonight but am so busy at the moment everything is on a priority only basis....

One of those rare mornings where I made the lunches last night so feeling uber organised and plenty of time :)

    today:

    * put out plants for hardening. I've done it all week and Saturday they are staying out!
    * still hunting for the netting & canes :(
    * absolutely must sow purple sprouting broccoli and if I have time pot up at least 2 plants
    * try to make a cake - we go away on Saturday!
    * get camping stuff out of the loft and work out what's needed
    * out leafleting tonight
    * pick up stuff from a house in town while there for work
    * nip into aldi and pick up super 6
    * all meals from stores - oh got to fend for himself tonight

    Ok better go! x

  • really annoyed with work because after asking about if I get additional hours al for the ot I've been doing I don't! Apparently if I was a temp member of staff I would but because I'm contracted I don't. so I save the company time & money - I know the job it's no more management responsibility and it's cheaper - but I don't get as good terms and conditions. So the answer to the question is no I won't be doing moree overtime!

    Morning all :)
Not been up long as I didn't get much sleep - I actually got up just after midnight and did some chores and went back to bed at 1.30 am, then I woke again several times once I did manage to get off to sleep... ugh, I hate not sleeping :(

    Anyway, today's list:
    Dog walks
    Post an ebay parcel
Make an appointment at the surgery for yet more blood tests :(
Wrap the little girl next door's birthday present and remember to give it to her mum before we go away tomorrow :)
Start to get stuff ready for our upcoming camping weekend - we are going to a small private festival. Won't stay the entire weekend, just Friday pm to Sunday am, as the bathroom facilities won't be to my liking
Load of washing (maybe two, good weather for drying outside :))
    Clean bedroom and change bed
Take some stuff to auction - declutter and hopefully make some money :)

Perps (I think it was, who asked), the link for the mini greenhouse is http://www.gardenchic.co.uk/forest-garden-mini-greenhouse-with-2-internal-shelves-p262

It is scheduled to be delivered next Thursday :j
