Good Afternoon All
HK's DD - Congrats on your driving test, my niece passed the same day
The sun's shining on and off and we've had one really quick heavy rain shower. Had a few really low but busy days, hubby still on track for his op but both me and DS are getting more nervous by the day. Have decided to clear our DVD cupboard as we haven't watched DVDs for months now, have checked 3 different sites for trade-in and picked the best (made £60 so far) and listed a few on facebook for £1 each, still lots to go through. Today's plans:
Check Bank & make PAD
Shopping with list
Collect freebies through COS
Upload receipts to COS
Pack DH's bag for admission (and also bag for me to take when he's out of intensive care)
Pamper time
Continue purge on emails
Enter a few comps
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Check: Lucky Phone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL
Have a great weekend all!

Morning all,
And a very early one it is too:eek: we had our DGD for a sleepover last night. She is such a good girl but likes to wake up early. Her mum and dad will be here around lunchtime to collect her.
Jobs for today include
- Parceling Parceling and more parceling. Had a sale in my ebay shop as things were a bit quiet. Great idea but I didn't think about all the posting. I now have 50:eek: parcels to post tomorrow morning!!
-Have a general tidy up after DGD has left her whirlwind behind.
-Probably a nap:D
-Dinner will be chicken curry as I have two chicken breasts to use up
-Find a new free book to read on my kindle
-Get round to the meal plan for this week
Otherwise not doing a great deal, hoping for a restful Sunday xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0 -
Morning all :coffee:
I'm just having a quick cuppa before I go and collect ds from bestie's house - he slept there last night. Then we're off to see my mam for a feed and catch up with her.
I'm still tired and run down but really pleased that I don't need to think about work for a week - just the stuff going on at home. My anxiety is quite bad again at the moment so I'm focussing on looking after myself as best as I can...
Need to do a bit of grocery shopping as well. I've been waiting for dh but I don't think he's going to get up and come with us so I'll just have to do it without him...Not giving up

Have a lovely Sunday0 -
Hey everyone, hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine!
I woke early again today and ploughed on through the washing mountain, just one load left to do now.
I returned a beautiful but expensive doorstop to the garden centre for a refund and have instead used a big log I found on the roadside for free :T I did buy a long plastic window box to put my herbs in, (I'm going to sell the terracotta, chalkboard painted ones at a boot sale tomorrow.) I already have some lovely brackets to attach it outside and it's narrow enough to fit on the windowsill indoors in the winter.
I'm getting really peed off with my neighbour's and trying not to be. They came home at twenty past midnight last night and proceeded to start hammering in the bedroom. Now they have the windows open and loud music on (luckily the music meets with my approval but still.) I'm trying not to get annoyed because that's a downward spiral and then they'll only need to breathe to put me on edge. I seem to be surrounded by people that want to share their music with everyone, the local station has a bloke on a bike selling coffee that has a huge amplifier, the car wash people have music booming all day and now I have these !!!!ers, thank God they are only renting and won't be there forever.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

I stand corrected, it is the people the other side with the loud music, they are having a gathering so I'll forgive themMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

The car is loaded for the boot sale, I have just thrown everything in willy nilly and will sort it as I unload, I have usually sorted into boxes of like with like but if I did that I'd put off doing it for another week :rotfl:
I'm off to have a bath ready to take my mum to bingo :AMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Evening all, late check in from me, had a hectic day! Well Thursday night I lost my voice but didn't think much of it, yesterday it still wasn't back so I sought a medical appointment, turns out I have laryngitis, not great when you have a 6 month old who loves it when you sing to him, thank god for you tube!
Today DS had his weekly swimming lesson and then we went bargain hunting at B&M, didn't find any "massive" bargains, just picked up some shampoo/conditioner and shower gel which was cheaper than the supermarket!
Today elsewhere I have/will:
- Checked banking, its not looking good on statutory maternity pay, very tight! I need to bridge a £20 a month gap, I think I better get stuck into my surveys!
- Take DS to swimming lesson - Done
- Bargain hunt at B&M - Done
- Meals from home - Done
- Washing & tumble dry - More than expected after DS had a little "accident"
Have a lovely evening everyone! xDebt free once - Back again | Current debt: £2479.50 - January 2025 | Make £2025 in 2025 #11 - £41/£20250 -
Rain forecast for tomorrow so I won't be doing the boot sale. I also won't be unpacking the car
Both my mum and myself won £10 each at old people's bingo. I deserve it though for having to go :rotfl: I'm told I'm not very tolerant of old people and it's probably true but I can't bear hearing pensioners making smutty innuendos
Tomorrow will be round three of this weekends trying to sort the house out attempts, I swear I don't seem to stop but I don't seem to be making any progress either, I get sidetracked too easily. I did manage to clean and sort the bathroom today, if I just sit in there I can pretend it's all fine :rotfl:
As I'm not going to do the boot sale tomorrow and there is supposedly a two hour slot when it's not going to be raining I'm going to try to get some stuff up on eBay.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
