The judge dismissed the case within 15mins. The judge was on my side and could not believe they had wasted everyone's time as I had clearly provided evidence of having paid for a ticket.
The judge went on to say that they shouldn't have accepted the payment if I hadn't followed the terms and conditions. If anything they should have given me the money back....not ask for more money.
As a matter of interest, could this judgement have any implications for other PPC cases where the VRN has been entered incorrectly by the driver/keeper? If the PPC accepts money without the Ts&Cs being adhered to then no contract ever existed and they should not have accepted the money in the first place.
  • It has no "IMPLICATIONS" its just an argument that can be used. We've suggested it before - that essentially no breach occurred, as the automated ticket machine accepted a modifieation by accepting the paymetn without a full VRM.
  • In regards to the court claim-how will I receive the payment?

They sometimes pay a few days late. If not, write to your Judge.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have received court claim from qdr solicitors on behalf of car bank management. They are pursuing 235 pound now.

I responded to Lbc and sent them further letter asking for clarification on the pcn.

For your info pcn was received on day 22 or 23 and not in accordance with pofa.

I have filed aos and am preparing defence.
