  • i may be wrong but free places only occur to low income and benefits people, im on income support and im on my 3rd course.failed on one so doing it again now and have done money management.

    debt total 16/09/2008 = £9518.38:eek:
  • this is crap,because it says you have to be working in a job to do the courses,therefore if i want to better myself by doing a course i would have to be working,as it is im a full time mum,who wants to better herself not be in some crappy dead end job as before! :mad:......:rolleyes: sorry rant over.

    the courses are free but you have to be in employment to do them,which im not,and it sucks..how did you manage to do 3 courses if your on income support? meaning were you working when you did them?

    Thanks for the thread OP. Unfortunately the course I wanted has come back saying there are no funded places in my area :mad: :mad: . Aaaww I'm disappointed now! (Clait Level 2 OCR)
  • i did apply for some of the courses but you had to be working.i am only doing the courses that im entitled to do which was next steps in it level 2 and first steps in it level 1,money management etc and maybe few more

    so no you dont have to be working as when you apply they ask what your employment status is if your not working you have to send photocopied proof of income ie income support or whatever your on to them.
    some of the courses are work related only anyway.

    i have 3 gcses to my name (now u all tut lol) and i have still got to do a course with vision2learn.and if i complete this course which i will il get an nvq level 2 in IT
