    Just read your post, in Scotland there is an organisation called ILA Scotland. They give you up to £200 (£500 for graduates) to put towards training courses and qualifications.
    As a new user I can't post with links, but if you google ILA Scotland it brings you to the website. You can search by location to see what colleges and other places accept the funding.
    There's loads of details in the website, I work at the local Jobcentre Plus office and always recommend this to people.
