hi, im leaving college this time to study at university in september.
Would these qualifications be any use to me to do in the summer holidays or something, or would i just be doing unnecessary work??

    Thanks

you can do the vision to learn courses with more than a level 2 qualification. I've just completed one and have a level 4 or 5 qualification (can't remember what number is what exactly)
    2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
    2013: £134.96

You sure? because on the application form thing, it says 'ensure that you don't have a level 2 qualification or above, otherwise you may have to pay for the course.'

well I have a degree and they phone you up and talk to you to confirm your eligibility and I was fine and they said that I was eligble for funding from them. Completed my vision2learn course in Equality and Diversity a week ago and it was definitely free! You could always phone them and check - it might be different for different courses.

I agree, the Edexcel workskills course my wife has applied to do stated on the paper forms they send that they have funding for all qualification levels now and not just level 2
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
