Also spoke to aunt about not paying anything until things are more settled. She's totally fine with this and isn't in a rush.
Friend hasn't replied yet. But out of all that I owe this is one of the most important.
As I said before step dad isn't in a rush.

I don't want to look like I'm taking advantage though but at least they know my situation now and understand.

For the fines to come out as an attachment of earnings they'd take a lot more than what the payment plan is now same for the council tax. So I'll leave it as it is.

That's really good news, Hidden. Something for you to look forward to. I might have sounded judgemental but I think you do really well looking after your children and your home in very difficult circumstances. I am particularly impressed on how you manage all these home cooked meals. Any news on the new cooker?

Other half's friend has the cooker at his. Just waiting for him to bring it to us now. Going to nag other half to try and sort this week as he's on annual leave from Sunday-Friday.

I enjoy cooking and baking and it's definitely somewhere I can help keep the costs low. Other half has meat with every meal but it really doesn't bother me so that makes things stretch too. I guess if I'm not going out to work its my responsibility to sort the house and food etc.

Saying that I still haven't caught up on the ironing from holiday :o I'll do it tomorrow morning why he's at work on half day.

I hope the weather dries up its awful today!

Tax credits are being really weird? My payment today was 80p less than usual. I've just logged in and it shows a payment for Tuesday of £25. I hope that's not what they've gone down too :o

I keep trying to get through but it costs a fortune on pay as you go. So will need to arrange with mum for me to go and use her landline.

I need a new hoover still. I'm 4 surveys away from cash out on you gov (£50) so half of this will go to a new hoover and the other half to the debt.

Need to make sure food is on budget this week and next as both DD and DS need new school shoes. It's only a 6 week term left before the summer holidays so just going to get supermarket budget shoes and hope they last the 6 weeks. DD also came home without her p.e joggers in her bag  I'm definitely not replacing them for 6 weeks. They have to have the logo on and it's all changing colours when they go back in September. Will need to speak to school and tell them.

    It would :)

Shopping done at Aldi stuck to my list £23.70 spent :D I walked home rather than taxi so saved £6 on that ;)
Haven't got nappies but I don't think we will need any this week. Will put the £6 away just incase and they aren't from Aldi anyway.

Promised DD will make pie again this week. So will make pasties/sausage rolls to freeze for quick dinners.

Something that made really laugh today was next door invited the kids round for a birthday tea for their little boy who's the same age as DS.

She asked if they wanted waffles and my kids didn't know what potato waffles where :rotfl: :rotfl: DD was horrified at the thought of beans with egg waffles she has with fruit usually :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm sure the school will have some in lost property that she could borrow until the end of term. Rich pickings, lost property boxes!

Yes the DLA form has arrived. I haven't had chance to look at it yet though. That's the plan for this week.

Finally got the ironing up to date and the house is clean. The weather is nice again so the bedding is all in the wash so I can get it pegged out.

I want to get some paint so we can make a start on the painting this week why OH is off work. Going to have a look around wheres cheapest for just some white and magnolia. I still have the £20 in my purse from holiday. So hoping to just use this and not go over it to much.

I also want to try and get some things in the freezer for days when we're busy. So will probably do some baking with DD and make some snacks while we're at it. I'm expecting to need more than usual with it being half term and other half at home.
