Hello Hidden
I'm glad to hear the little ones are coming around, They probably just need a bit of reassurance. You're right they don't like change and talking to them will male them feel more secure.
I think all our anxiety levels are rising because of recent events so don't think you're alone.
Hope you enjoy your roast dinner.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hope you enjoyed your roast? I did one today as well. Did a pork joint. I spent the day with my immediate family and barely touched the tablet. OH and I sat and watched Philomena. Have you seen that yet?" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

The roast was good! It's the first real dinner I've eaten in weeks
DS was shocked I was eating dinner
must make more effort to do this! I always sit at the table with them while they eat anyway! So I have no excuse!
We are watching the one love concert now while I do my ironing. Kids are tucked up in bed and happy :A recent events definitely make me feel lucky for what I have got.
I haven't bob! Is it good? Maybe something I will have a look for.
You can't beat a good roast and spending time with loved one's x0 -
It's so sad about the loss of life in recent events but to let it get you down is letting "them" win. We need to let them see we will carry on. Certainly makes you realise how precious life is. Concert is fab isn't it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

My realistic side thinks like this. My not so realistic side wants to grab the kids and bunker down in a field and hide from the world forever
Guess which side is winning
The concert is amazing! I offered the kids to stay up and watch but DD said my singing along was terrible :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Yes very good (I thought) it stars Judy Dench and Steve Cogan. It's based on a true story. An Irish woman reveals to her daughter that she was forced to give away a baby 50 years ago. The story is about her search and the truth it uncovers. It's on Netflix." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

The money that appeared in the bank was from OH. He sent half of the cost of the hoover and covered the cards and postage for them to his mum for her birthday. (Forgot I'd done this
she text to say thank you to him today least I didn't forget to actually send them
:rotfl: )
Now I don't know if I should send it over to a debt or keep it:rotfl:

Just been catching up on your diary- hooray for holidays and new hoovers! I definitely think a Hoover is a necessity- I seem to be constantly hoovering up after stepson when he is here, so heaven knows how you manage with 3! Settled down for a nice chill on the sofa tonight and found a bunch of cheerios (dry thankfully) slipped between the cushions :rotfl:think a sofa deep clean is on the cards this weekend!!
That's great of your OH to send you the Hoover money too- why don't you stash it for a rainy day as an emergency fund in case there is ever a week when you are a bit short, or just need an emergency bar of chocolate!!

Pad of the day £5 to my fine. I want to get it paid off. The good news is this didn't show on my dbs check. Wonder if it's because it wasnt a crime? No idea.
Think I forgot to say my DBS came back yesterday in the post and all good. So will drop this into job place and hopefully will get a place for September at where I want to be. Long story short my mum is manager at this place and someone is going on maternity leave, then when she comes back not till the school year starting Sept 18 she wants to relocate. Area manager knows my wishes and I think it's been helped along with input from others including mum. If I don't get that position not the end of the world but I'll just do relief cover rather than fixed. Fingers crossed0
