It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

  • Is it possible to step back and simply withdraw your involvement if it doesn't 100% directly involve you Hidden? Or is that not possible? It sounds horrible - I really hope things get sorted soon.

Another one checking in and offering encouragement.

As US says, there is only one side to consider - yours and the children. That's your focus.

  • Thank you for all the replies, I think you're all right and I do need to just focus on my own little family (our household) and deal with the dramas that have unfolded here.

It is, however I think then both sides would think I was taking the other? I'm not sure. I don't actually want to be on either side :o and quite happy to build my own wall. But I realise I need to be careful where things lead and how it affects the smalls and how they hold a relationship with said 'issue people' going forward.

Afterall I'd be quite happy to be alone with no one then no trouble could happen :o I only keep certain relationships as close as they are for the smalls. Complicated huh!

I think for my own sake I need to get back into my MSE head and clean/budget/cook and make the smalls happy and let the other stuff continue unfolding and realise I can't fix everything and what will be, will be.

Thank you for all the replies its much appreciated. and for listening to my nonsense posts that probably don't make sense :o
