Hate to say it but it was like summer here today, really warm and sunny.
I've learned through past experience that it's best to take it one day at a time. If I can go to bed and say today was ok then all is well. Tomorrow is another day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I agree it was cold here this morning HI but it did brighten up mid morning. Autumn on its way up North tho :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0

Youngest was so confused by the fog! She's never been out in it before! She wasn't happy it made her knees cold :rotfl:
I don't think we will hold out on having no heating on if that's how it plans on stayingI've been so tempted to turn the thermostat up a little
I'm happy with hot water bottles for now and the kids are warm while in their bedrooms. It's coming down in a morning at 5am when it hits :rotfl:
Going to have to countdown to when it starts warming up again.
Have upped youngests steroids a little in the hope it keeps her going good. We are back at her respiratory team on Monday and I've heard down the line they agree we should keep the med mix as it is until winter's overWill have to wait until Monday to confirm but will be happy they have seen sense that now is possibly the worst time to try and mess with things. The weathers changing and all the new germs at school!
We are two staff down in work this week and no cover in place. That along with the two who hate each other makes the air awkward to say the least.0 -
Great news on littlest's meds Hidden - it did seem a rather mad idea to mess with things just when she was vulnerable to all sorts!
As for 5am  not surprised it's a bit nippy - do you really need to get up that early or is it just when you wake? If the latter can you just stay in bed with a book for an hour rather than feeling you have to get up? Even allowing for having to get the smalls ready for school that does seem awful early to be getting up!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Tomorrow is non-uniform day. Outfits sorted, ironed and ready for morning. Not exactly to what we had planned, but no way I'm spending money on it
Need to get milk tomorrow, we should manage tonight. Probably some juice too unless they take water in school lunches  Will speak to them.
Loads of casserole to portion off and freeze, it went down well though! Considering the weather is so miserable! Chilli will be going in the slowcooker for tomorrow.
I really need to get on eBay for a bundle of clothes for the girls! I tried at least 10 items on between them earlier and none fit! I was in a bit of a panicBut I will sort it. They need to slow down with the growing
Youngest came home with a letter from school, they now need an all in one puddle suit, hat, gloves and spare socks. Forest school commences in 2 weeks and will be every Monday! She will love this.
Nothing much else to report, still surveying as much as possible, have another Focus group in October should get £50 for this.
Have wrote Christmas plans and will switch surveys onto this after half term.0 -

Hi Hidden, all sounding good your end.
Your meal planning always makes me give myself a kick, as it really is helpful when watching the food budget & making sure things are used and not binned or thrown into the freezer & forgotten about.I'm really needing to do this now as SMP has reduced my wage by two thirds.
I agree with the others, forest school sounds like great fun.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
