  • Well F1 was a shocker!! I'm really happy with the result though ;) Can't help feel sorry for the ones it didn't go great for though.

Sunday roast eaten, baths done, hairs blow dryed and smalls all tucked up in bed after a story (or 5)

I'm going to have a cuppa and potter about checking all the annoying things (like skirting boards!) are done but there really isn't much to do.

Then a bath and an early night I think. Everything is ready for morning and the pack lunches are packed. Shoes are polished (youngest has scuffed hers already! Will have to make do for now though! I hate sending them to school with scuffed shoes :()

Bought DS wellies from Amazon with vouchers. Need to look at sorting youngest a car seat out soon before we go away in October. In a way I hate they cost so much when its only used a few times a year :o but needs must!

I'm thrilled with the F1 result too, although the only 1 I feel sorry for out of that first incident was Verstappen, poor thing! I intensely dislike Vettel though, so that might be why ;)

  • Poor Max! I agree and 7 DNF's in one season can't be going down well behind the scenes!

Always the best result when my fave wins though! Kids think it's hilarious I get so into the race :rotfl:

Poor thing, he was so lovely in the interview though - I'd have been ranting and raving (well, I might have secretly at the TV whilst OH was out :rotfl:)

  • Hi hidden
Just read your diary over the last couple of days.
What a read, well done my dear, you've had an amazing journey so far.
    Keep it up girl!
I'm gobsmacked at how much cleaning you get done, my house is tip most of the time.
Been inspired to look into more surveys as you seem to do so well out of them.
    Keep up the good work.

  • Thank you and wow at reading it all :o

    Happy Monday :D

Just having a cuppa before I straighten my hair :rotfl:

    Smalls eating breakfast.

I have a later than usual start at work this morning because I have my appointment to attend this morning. Have the things ready to chuck on ebay will try and get them on why I'm on my way into town/waiting at the appointment. Need to pay the survey cheque in too.

I don't think there will be any more spends this week. School is up to date with trip and snack money etc. Lunches are sorted and so are dinners. All the important stuff paid for until Friday at least. Bought wellies and things needed for trips.

We have a no uniform day and they have to dress 'from around the world' not sure what I'll do for this yet :rotfl: always struggle!
  • Just catching up - you sound so contented! :T

Does the other fine still need to be on your list if it belongs to your ex?

Definitely no need to feel bad about a quiet weekend - first few weeks back at school must be tiring for kids I should think so they probably benefited from having a chance to recharge their batteries a bit! :)

  • I've left the other fine on as I'm paying it still, I'd rather know its dealt with and no surprise bailiff visits will happen.

I am quite happy with how life is at the minute. I'm well aware the mood could take a dive but I'll enjoy it why I can ;)

Appointment went well. A while 19lbs lighter! WOW coffee was making me fat :rotfl: Yes blame the coffee and not the sugar and milk replacement ;)

Kids decided on Chicken goujons for dinner so made them with the ends of the loaf and some of the chicken, left over mash and veg to go with that for them. Chicken salad for me (got loads need using before it goes sad)

We are all home and out the rain! Another chill night I think its cold and wet and everyone is tired.

I lodged the cheque at the bank while in town and didn't spend anything while there. Walked there and back because I had no smalls with me.
