How annoying and cheeky, glad that the nerf guns were returned.
Your September goals are going along rather well
Hope you're managing to have a bit of a rest xx0 -
I am actually lay on the sofa and reading diaries. Smalls have eaten and bath is running.
I think we are all just going to have an early night.
I know I was so surprised the guns where returned (I don't like them at all. But they'd been DS's gifts from family for a few years so obviously he was devastatedBad mum alert

Glad all's well that ends well. Sometimes it's handy to know someone who has a bit of influence on the rogues
Years ago I had a friend who was lovely to me but could be a bit aggressive - no one dared speak out of turn to me, she would've decked them
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hey HI, when you have a bit of money, check out original turtle mats - I have these - they are moisture and dirt trappers. I wash them when they look grim (and they wash well but are rubber backed so you need to be able to hang them to dry) but in the meantime they stop the mud, dirt and wet being trodden through. There are cheaper options but I never found them to be so goodSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

Oh I will have a look. Thank you.
Todays plans are to cook the sunday roast! Main priority :rotfl:
List on eBay I really should have done this by nowI need to do it.
One load of ironing to do which I'll do when the beds are dry.
I have a late start at work tomorrow because I have an appointment at 10am. While in town for this will pay the cheque in from surveys.
I'm hoping with the cheque and some I can cash out from PA we can see it through to payday without missing anything.0 -
Catching up on diaries...well done on clearing the fine, that's fantastic.

Thank you
Sunday roast is in - Chicken this week.
Made coleslaw and made up salads for the start of the week for me and the kids packed lunches. Will be chicken/chicken and bacon tomorrow and Tues. Probably Tuna wednesday and then we'll have a look what else.
Baked the goodies for the smalls pack lunches. Made yogurt and jelly and the fridge is loaded with enough small pots of fruit made up for their lunches too.
Meal plan will heavily feature the Chicken this week as its huge! So probably curry/fajitas/soup etc chucked in there.
I think it's starting to get colder now and maybe the kids won't want salads for their pack lunches? Not sure. Maybe I should sit them down and have a think of other things in replacement (Although DD will just want jam sandwich everyday instead :rotfl:)0 -
Roast chicken this end too, DS will take a leg with his packed lunch and no doubt demolish one at dinner time today.
You sound very organised for the week ahead.
Hope your having a good Sunday? Xx0 -
I am
I'm watching F1 (I'm behind though so no one spoil it :rotfl:)
Kids are happily playing, although youngest is annoying the other two!
We've had a really quiet weekend which I feel a bit guilty about0
