  • Thank you will have a look on sports direct and will look in store when I'm in town. I always forget about there thank you x
  • Hi Hidden, glad you had a fab time at the caravan.

I am feeling tired too but I am putting it down to trying to get back into routine after doing nothing on holidays.

    Hope you are well. x

If you speak to school you should be able to delay paying for the trips until you've been paid. Just explain that you started a new job so cash flow is a bit problematic until pay day.

    Great suggestion!

Primark or eBay for the other bits you need for the trips?

  • Thank you, I think we've agreed they will use old raincoats and things and I will replace them in October. Just need wellies. This way it won't matter too much if they get damaged (they are den building and lighting fires etc)

I will add make a note they'll need replacing before we go on holiday which they would have done anyway.

Busy day in work today, I'm still so tired :o
Have done all my house work though and now having a cuppa before the school run. Chicken curry & rice for dinner, will make some flat breads when I get back.

I feel like I haven't caught up with anyone else's diary for ages but there just isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done :o
  • Finally sitting down. Least it's not as late. Just the floors to polish before I go up (then they can dry without footprints :rotfl:)

    Now I need to
    Mealplan
    Create a small budget
Plan what needs paying and when

My tax credits have changed to 4 weekly (The first payment will just cover the rent I will owe on the 29th)
    Meaning I will have £48.10 a week to cover £15 Electric, £10 gas, £5.60 TV license, £17.10 for groceries/school.
Council tax will have to wait until I get my wages will call them and change the payment arrangement to fit in.

So the debt busting is going to be awfully slow for the next 6 weeks :( Maybe I shouldn't post as much until I'm actually paying the debt down :o
  • You're doing great missus and don't worry too much about not being able to visit everyone's diaries, we know how busy you are.
I've been the same past couple of weeks, work, work, work... thankfully, its easing off a bit now.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Glad to see you are all settling into a routine now that you have work and youngest goes to nursery.

As for your comment above I am , the sloven in me would rather read diaries than do housework - which clearly shows in the state of my house:rotfl:
