It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Many years ago we owned a static caravan in wales, every Friday night in season we would go until the Sunday night absolutely loved it and have many happy memories. Due to a large increase in site fees and kids growing up and wanting to go abroad we sold the caravan. Would love to have another one.xx

I love caravans. Many happy memories of going to Great Yarmouth every year as a child. Just before Mr SA got ill we went to Hunstanton for the weekend in a caravan. It rained the whole time we were there but it was so cosy.

  • Wow sounds fab, its good to look back at last year and realise how far you've come. I am in awe that you managed a so long in Blackpool and only spent £20, well done!

  • Thank you for all the replies x

Emmie I was horrified at spending £20 :rotfl:
    £9 on a bouncy castle
    £8 on light up toys
And the change went into the arcades :o

We walked on the sea side of the road rather than the shops/arcades so it made it easier they where so interested in the lights and then the things you can see out at see etc they where happily distracted not to ask for things. I was very surprised though. I really couldn't believe how well they behaved :o it makes me nervous taking all 3 to something like that on my own.

Thank you bubbly I do bank with Nationwide and would love to refer you. Should I pm you? Thank you x

Hope everyone has a happy (while very wet) Monday. I only have 2 hours at work today because it's relatives funeral.

What a kind gesture. There really are some very thoughtful people here.
I'm glad you enjoyed your week end and £20.00 really isn't that much. I think when you're debt busting you get into the habit of questioning every penny you spend. I spent some money last week which wasn't really needed and immediately felt terrible guilt and started thinking what I was going to scrimp on the pay for it! But you and the wee ones need a treat sometimes so don't be too hard on yourself.
    Hope all goes well today.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
  • Yes just send me a pm x
