  • That's good about the fine, fingers crossed it's a good outcome.

Hope the gas leak and the boiler gets sorted asap. At least the boiler going now is better than in Winter.
  • DO NOT use any website that makes you pay for advice and if someone PM's you on this site offering to help ignore them (unless its me obviously!!) as there is a lady on here who is undercover for bailiffs and she offers help to people in PM and then tells all to the bailiff companies.

That is actually quite scary.

Is your mum home? What did she think of the clean house and food?

The familyfund should help you with beds and carpet if you have none suitable.

Beds and carpet are covered now, I'm not ordering until next weekend when the decorating finished.

The boiler is being looked at tomorrow. Transco have been and have made isolated it and made it safe.

So things could be worse :)

Going to do the decorating slow and steady.

Half the uniform is ordered from the uniform shop
    Shopping list done for tomorrow

Kids are painting and I think they have painted themselves too  :rotfl:

I was wondering that too. There may be a very good reason but to be honest if you keep sorting things out for him he'll never take responsibility for anything in his life.
On the plus side, despite all your set backs, you're doing really well.

It is easy to forget it's a public forum and anyone can read even if they don't have an account.

It is quite scary someone would go to those lengths tho!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Had another appointment to attend this afternoon. Was helpful even if some things aren't what I want to hear.

My meal plans are getting a bit repetitive so going to have a shake up I think. We made coconut cake and macaroons last night rather than just victoria sponge and oat biscuits. Going to make some oat bites and Australian crunch over the weekend.

The weather has been so much nicer today! Kids are having jacket potatoes and cheese coleslaw for dinner.

Thinking of braving Ald! in the morning for the shopping, will see how the weather looks when we get up. Youngest has a respiratory appointment in the afternoon and we'll call in my mums on the way home. She brought them some lovely gifts home so they've got plenty to keep them occupied :)
  • I'd forgotten all about Australian crunch, used to love it when I was at school. Guess what I'm making tomorrow.
