Hi Hidden, you've been busy as usual. :A

Well done on decorating the girls' room, I'm sure they're delighted with it.:)

You're doing so well with the surveys :T, I do quite a few and they can be quite a slog at times.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

    Thanks for stopping in :D

The surveys do get a bit hard to keep motivated don't they? Knowing its all for the girls room is keeping me going.

Definitely on for finishing the painting for the weekend. Carpet costed and its £37 delivered. Decided on the better sample just because its not much more cost but a huge difference in how it looks/should last. Should make enough on ebay and with the survey money in paypal already to order this weekend.

Will cash out PA this weekend and order the beds and mattress.

Amazon I now have enough for curtains and lampshade.

Then the week afters survey money along with my nectar points will buy the bedding etc from Argos and its complete other than the little bits and dvds.

His fine is staying in for now. Until I've got some proper advice. It will also need a payment this week if said advice isn't sorted and dealt with.

Not really much paid off but considering everything going on at least it hasn't gone up.
  • Oh Hidden, I can't believe you are going to pay his fine. It's in his name right? And you have given over his new address? Why do you feeling you have to pay that?

  • Well done! It is a fantastic amount to pay off while still waiting for your money to be sorted.
LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
    Mortgage@1 June 18 - £76350
    Total debt @june 18 £102311
    Debt Jan 25 £8282
Mortgage £51215. Total debt now £59497
  • That is a fantastic amount paid this month, you're on fire! :D

I echo what moneymanager said though, if they have his new address etc they should chase him and not you.

Because he is on the tenancy here and has to remain on it while there's a court order for the arrears. So the bailiffs are free to come here as he isn't on a tenancy else where. Where he is staying is with a friend and he won't be going on the tenancy. So the enforcement officers remain the right to come here because its for a criminal fine. Not a debt bailiff.

He hasn't made any payment since leaving. Its in arrears and tbh its just kicked a whole load of !!!!!! into to today.

Unless I have original receipts to prove everything in the house is mine. I mean come on? Who has receipts for second hand furniture and things

Hope you manage to get the advice soon Hidden. You shouldn't have to be paying his debt, he should be paying half to the council tax and rent arrears too as he was living there too.
He should be offering to pay his debts, not seeing his children go without (I know they aren't, your doing fantastic!) but he is taking the little bit of money you have from them.
Please try for child support if he isn't going to offer to help look after his children and expect you to pay his debts too xx

  • That is such a shame though that it's left to you but yes definitely try and get some advice about that as its his fine not yours. How annoying that he isn't even bothering to put anything to that.
