I hear you on the branded/logo uniform HI. I refuse to buy school banded polo shirts because DH goes through so many and as of the middle of this school year we started to use a rucksack as a book bag rather than the school one as the corners wear out and he can't fit his water bottle or other items into it. I do buy the PE kit though which is a branded t-shirt and plain shorts as it is good quality and I only buy 1 each year.

The Aldi polo shirts at 2 for £1.50 are OK quality wise if they come in your school colour. DS is light blue so easily sourced.

Thanks all. Kids had a good day and it was a NSD we walked there and back and missed the rain. They have just had dinner and are in the shower.

Shame something always has to but a downer on the day. So I think a shower and early night for myself and I'll catch up tomorrow.

Meh what didn't! Just glad the kids had a good day and didn't notice my awful mood. Now they're in bed I can just get over my mood without it affecting them I hope
