Morning everyone, hope all is well.
Bit grey here this morning so hoping the sun comes out later.
Motivated - Thanks for the reminder of the Tescos vouchers, I need to look at mine. It's the Twins birthday next months so a meal out using the vouchers would be perfect.
Determined - hope you're feeling better now. Migraines are the worst!
Today's list:
- WFH so all meals from home
- Pop to Costco and buy the large water bottles that are half price at the moment. The Twins take one to school each everyday
- Call up one of my creditors to see if the default they've recorded is correct
- Complete some surveys. I wasn't much in the mood yesterday
- Check on Ebay items, some end tomorrow
- Think about what I'm going to buy the Twins for their 16th birthday next month. I'm sure that's going to cost me!
- Put a wash on and hang outside to dry
- Drink lots of water today... I can feel a niggling headache coming on
That's all, enjoy your day0 -
Morning everyone
Hi to the newbies and returning posters:wave:
Spendy day yesterday which wasn't planned, but we stocked up and said to DD it has got to last till next week, only spends should be cat litter. On target with my grocery challenge:)
Didn't sleep very well last night, up late doing paperwork and then at 6am missing kitty now home was sick twice and brought up what looked to be disposable wipes or baby wipes-one being a whole one. She still went into the vets first thing this morning for the tests, they can't feel any lumps now, they think it was the wipes she ate, but just want to check out that nothing else was eaten that might make her poorly.
Plans for today
Washing out
Check through paperwork while waiting for DD instead of running back and forth.
I will mop that kitchen floor tonight:D
Banking all checked-everything good
Sort out some hospital stuff
DNMS migraines are the worst, and it is a horrible feeling when u feel u have lost a day bec of one. Hope u are feeling better now
CCL hope everything goes okay today for u

Morning all,
Just catching up with a coffee after a morning of housework. The lounge and dining room were looking really dusty so I have been down on my hands and knees with microfibre cloths in all the corners where the hoover won't reach properly, put loads of stuff away and I am just about to polish the coffee table!
Apart from that:
HM breakfast and lunch from stores, out to dinner tonight with DS and his GF, so no need to cook :T Very nice meal, DS and his GF seem very happy, and so does the dog
Packed 2 more ebay parcels, 4 to post todayDone
Report non paying buyer after several messages, invoice sent etc, so that I don't have to pay fees on non existent saleAutomatic on my business account apparently
Take an item to sales unit, and one to a charity shop while out Done
Drs appointment this afternoon, not looking forward to this, hence the cleaning binge to take my mind off it :rotfl: Done, as expected
A few surveys, onepoll is climbing steadily again
Claimed a £5 Amazon voucher from Ipsos surveys
Hope everyone is having a good day and all headaches are better0 -
The thread is quiet today, are you all busy doing paid stuff?
I brought breakfast and lunch in, I'm absolutely starving now though as I didn't bring any snacks so I'll probably end up buying crisps on the way home.
I renewed my annual fee for having my brown bin (garden rubbish) collected again this year. It's #36 per year but saves on trips to the dump, bin liners and heavy lifting and I need to tackle the front garden this year.
I'll do a quick reccy of the YS stuff on my way home and go back if it looks like there's lots of good stuff. There were a couple of other determined bargain hunters there last night so I shall need to sharpen my elbows
I need to run a couple of packages down to the drop off shop tonight and then I will do a bit of sorting of washing but on the whole I'm planning on taking it easy tonightMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Evening all
Been a really busy day - another NSD which is great.
Worked (brought own lunch to work and only drank water)
Came home gutted the house, cleaned the kitchen which was really needing it and done a wash and hung it out for a few hours to make the most of what I could squeeze out of the rare Scottish sunshine.
Fed and watered DD and she's now in bed and I'm just sitting down to watch some programmes!
Looking forward to seeing what you're all up to tomorrow for some inspiration

Morning
gosh it was quiet on here yesterday!
I had a change of plan yesterday as I have decided to submit an application for the manager role that is now vacant and the post closes today at 9am. so none of the tasks I had planned to do last night got done! I think I've finished it but am undecided about whether I want to return to management or even working full time. But I guess from application to offer of post there is a lot of time to work that out...
Things for today:
* make lunches
* pack my things for the festival and madam's for going to mil's for the weekend
* oh to speak to his dm about plans for dropping madam off
* put out plants to harden
* quick shower
That's all I can think of my head is full of what needs to be done for going away and being torn about this job application. I think I've had enough of being stony broke but not sure working full time or under a lot of pressure is the right way to go!
anyway hope you all have a great day xDF as at 30/12/16

Good Morning
Apologies for going AWOL had a 24 hour bug thing that hit out of the blue and knocked me for six, yesterday started with an emergency walk to school with DS's PE kit and then spent lots of time in garden - painting 2nd/3rd coat on fence, tidied one of borders, installed bird bath - very achey but looks like weather is to change (yet) again so today's plans:
Check Bank & make PAD - Done
Collect DH's prescription -
Drop bag into charity shop -
Out for lunch with DH's sister and hubby -
Clean patio doors (think they attract dirt and fingerprints) -
Clean fridge and tidy freezer -
Write shopping list for tomorrow -
Continue purge on emails -
Enter a few comps -
Check: Lucky Phone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL -
Have a great day all!

-Sent the letters off informing our creditors we are now self managed on dmp. Feel a bit anxious about this but I'm sure it will be fine.
-Pulled out some potatoes that need using, will roast them for tea tonight.
-go out and do some buying (for work)
-post parcels and letter asking for a postal vote for the election as we are away that week
-call and see mum and dad

Julie - I've just written to SC to say I'm going self managed too and next step is to send off the letters to the creditors. Did you offer any token payments in the meantime?

Today's plans are:

- Return trimmer wire to B&M that I didn't need in the end
- Complete some online surveys
- Check Ebay items, some are due to finish today
- Find some more items to list on fleabay
- Get a home workout in
