    Hi everyone,
Fairly late in getting involved on this after a long absent spell from the forums. Have been lurking the past couple of months and following the threads but for some reason didn't log on to post :( Don't know why!

This week I've been off work, so have had 3 NSD this week.
Gutted the house each day so the place has been running relatively well.
All meals from fridge/freezer this week and have hopefully got enough good to see us through to my payday on Monday with ease :)
About to look through the garage to take pics of unwanted stuff to shove online to sell.
Will have to look later on through accounts and calculate exactly how much I owe so I can get right back on track!

    Afternoon all :)
I have been looking after GD (aged 3) today, so haven't got much done. Bought a really big bag of duplo from a facebook seller for £15, and it is brilliant, with animals and vehicles etc as well as lots of bricks. GD and I walked round to pick it up after lunch (it was only about 15 minutes walk) and I was pleased we had taken the pushchair as I would have struggled with it otherwise. She loves it, and between that and the sand pit she has been busy and happy all day :) Spent a bit out on these new things, but worth it as I look after her often and she has really grown out of a lot of the toys that I have here, and is not quite old enough for the huge box of charity shop bargain lego, though she does try to play with this, so the duplo is great :D Also means that any other visiting children can play and not be bored :)

    Apart from this -
    HM meals from stores
    Watered seedlings
Planted out a tray of supermarket living salad :) If you plant them out in a decent sized container, split the plants up a bit, they get much bigger, and give loads of leaves for longer. This was a Lidls one, costing £1, and I reckon it will go on for weeks :D My seed grown lettuce has been a bit disappointing so far, though there are other types of salad leaves ready. This one is a type of Japanese pak choi apparently, and will last till the lettuce gets a move on!
    Sold an ebay item
Relisted a couple of things, but not been able to list anything new today so far, and have run out of steam a bit now...
Still not been paid for something sold on Saturday :( I have sent the invoice, followed up with a reminder, if they don't pay by tomorrow morning I will raise a case with ebay to avoid getting charged fees for a non existent sale  Annoying, but happens sometimes :(
OH is doing dinner, which will be HM scotch eggs made yesterday, with salad!
Just claimed a £10 gift card from Pinecone surveys :T

Hey KB_Soma and J Higgins , better late than never ;)

Dawn, i just got a pack of growing salad from work today, mine is 80% spinach with a bit of pac choi mixed in, I will plant in something bigger and hope for a bumper crop!

I managed another completely YS dinner tonight, we had finest ham, new potato salad with Spring onions chopped in and a bag of organic spinach wilted into fried mushrooms, onion and garlic :T

I've put my sofa up on flea bay, I'm hoping it sells quickly as I need the room plus the money would be nice too :)

I've just done another WBB trade, it's only small but I can drop it at the same time as the other which will save me a trip later in the week.

I was off work this morning and popped into the garden and waggled my fingers down inside Auby's new bottle and it was damned hot in there, it really works!

Next door have a property maintenance company in so I think the mess from the gutters may be down to them, I suppose it's saved me a job!

Lunch and breakfast was all at/from home.

    That's about it for me.

    Night all

  • Morning guys :) quickie for me as I should be getting a move on by now. Didn't get anything done yesterday as I was struck down by a blinding headache mid morning which I had to go to bed for a couple of hours as it was so terrible I couldn't see and was sick :( Left feeling wiped out afterwards meaning my day was a write off

    So today:

    * finish making mine and madam's lunches
    * iron madam's clothes
    * hang washing out
    * put away 1 last load of washing
    * go to the sm and pick up the bits oh & I decided on taking to the festival tomorrow
    * make a vegan chocolate cake to take as well
    * put plants out to harden - day 2
    * water any veggies that need it
    * work hard as have to try and squeeze in 2 hours extra hours as I didn't do yesterday. Hope to do an hour today and another on Monday
    * really need to polish and vacuum as the house has turned into a dust haven while we've been away
    * still need to have the financial summit with oh...

checked tesco clubcard and £10 of vouchers coming my way to be transferred to £40 cafe rouge vouchers and will be going out for a meal with oh in the next couple of weeks :)

hope you all have a great day x

    Morning all

This week has gone absolutely screaming by!

A few shopping spends so far this week but nothing horrendous so far.

Talking of tesco vouchers DNM, do you know how long they can be kept for once converted? I converted some for a holiday we went on early last month, but we didn't do all the trips and I have a £10 days out voucher left :-/

    For today:
    - breakfast eaten , but am having a hungry day today so may grab something small in work too. Had a migraine last night which tends to make me a food-monster the next day!
    - lunch packed
    - check budget
    - put clean clothes away when I get home from work
    - water back garden veg when I get home
    - dinner from stores

That's my list for today I think :)

  • shortie no this has been the 1st time I've gone to town with vouchers! The one I got in Jan has a use by date of August so I guess 6 months. But I do know a few years ago I was able to reclaim some vouchers I hadn't used and were really old. So think you should be able to call them and get the points returned to your account.

    Morning all,

Haven't posted on here for a while, kinda got out of the habit but want to try and make it a regular thing.
    Todays list is
-Post letters to creditors (just in the process of moving to a self managed dmp)
    -Post ebay parcels
    -Check bank account
-shop the freezer, I'm hoping to not do another food shop until next week
-Get back into going to Aldi, instead of nipping into Tesco for this and that which is costing a fortune
    -have a no spend day
-out at our son's for tea tonight so no need to cook

that's it for today I think. Have a good Thursday
Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.

Morning all! A cool morning here but the sun is shining! We are off to my mums today so that will be nice and she lives near a big Tesco store so we will wander up there as LO is needing new socks which will hopefully be my only spend today! *hopefully*

When I get back I need to:

    - Do the washing up
    - Put a load of washing on and need to tumble dry
    - Chase non paying ebayer again!
    - Hoover living room

I think that's it for the moment as LO is fast asleep on me but only cat naps! X
