Afternoon all :hello: congrats lottebear :D

Busy day here now time to relax:
    HM malt loaf in breadmaker
    Eldest to swimming
Both smalls to dancing, Pre paid :)
2 loads of washing out on line, plus remnants of yesterdays that didn't dry on airer
Did go out for late lunch but used staff discount so 4 hot meals, 2 pud and 2 drinks (1 small had tap water and DH and I shared) for £21.03 :T
    Froze apple DD didn't finish

    Other things:
Make note in diary to check utilities in a month. When I called to swop to a cheaper tariff, they recommended coming off ec0nomy 7 as it wasn't worth it which surprised me as we actively try and use electricity in the cheap time. So I'll monitor it and see, I can always switch back if I want.
Move some furniture round now we're getting straight in DD room
Home cinema tonight (draw curtains, put on Pre owned film and make popcorn from scratch :o)
    Early night all round
Put a load of washing on for tonight, although e7 electric means it'll be freshly washed tomrrow
May dig out my home gel machine and do my nails for the first time in ages
Check presents needed/ got for rest of may

Enjoy your day folks. Hope you're ok la e

Well didn't quite do all on my list, mainly because DD2 fell asleep on sofa at 6.45  she's not quite 100% so I'm putting it down to that. Assume I'll be up early tomorrow though ;) I didn't do their room as I don't what to disturb her once she was in bed.

Instead I put up my lounge curtains I've been procrastinating about since new year. I was hoping to get someone to sew them together (bought two pairs as it was cheaper than made to measure) however, just bitten the bullet and put them up separately and they look fab :T plus ones I took down are already listed on fleabay along wth 35 other things :A

Moved unit from hallway to lounge and gave it a good clean :D we 'just' need a new sofa, some cushions and small lampshade to go on a lamp base I already have and then we're done :T

I used up a hamburger roll (pinched a tiny bit of mould off) with some ham and chutney for my tea and smalls had hotdog rolls that were too a week old (but no mould on theirs ;))

Burning a candle I've moved round practically every room in the house without actually burning it ;) so decided to finally use it :rotfl:

    Hi all

Some good work going on around here. Been to the shops today. I need a new handbag for work as mine is getting really scruffy and I dont have a suitable replacement. What a dilemma! Trawled around the shops, all the ones I like are silly money and I dont even want to spend £20 on one, let alone £40/£50. A lot of the cheap ones look, well, cheap. Finally found one I like for £12 but its a bit smaller than the one I have now so I have to scale down the things I carry. I also need to find something to carry my water bottle, fruit and sandwich rather than stuffing it all in my handbag!

Also found a sweatshirt that I needed for £6 so quite happy with that.

Some housework to do tomorrow, must do the spreadsheets too. Bedtime soon.

    Morning all :coffee:
Insomnia is back, along with my stressed out mood. I had a good day yesterday - got everything done, but I can tell I'm worn out because the lack of help and support I get from my family is starting to get me down a bit. Thankfully I can recognise it and just ride it through. I can get some more sleep later if I need to because today is looking quiet overall.
I have to take ds to another football match later, but other than that plans are to do a bit of batch cooking and a bit of decluttering, and a lot of being kind to myself and crochet. Maybe I will be able to bag myself a nsd along the way as well. Stranger things have happened. As I said yesterday - small steps.

Hope you manage some sleep later cat and make being kind to yourself a priority

Up early as predicted, but small got 12 hours so that should hopefully make her feel better. She did intentionally wake her sister though which is not ideal

    My list for today:
Check seedlings, see if there is some rhubarb I can cut
    Move furniture upstairs, sort books
    Check fleabay listings
    Clean bathroom
    Vacuum rest of upstairs
    Something from freezer for tea
Make something for breakfast - waffles I think, have ingredients in
Small shop later, have done a list
    Some exercise, hopefully a run
Get ready for week ahead, bags, lunches etc... will batch cook some soup and maybe a cake of some description.

Right off to drink coffee and then I'll get started. PF.

CCL things have been bad for me too just lately. Lots of anxiety, lots of feelings of "I hate myself, I hate my life, how did I make such a mess of things". On the face of it I look OK so I guess its hard for people close to you to understanding that you feel really terrible. However, a tiny bit of support goes a long way.

Anyhow, been flat out with both jobs so everything else has taken a back seat, including keeping an eye on the finances. So todays plans are 1) to get the finances sorted, 2) to get the housework up to date and 3) to have some time for myself before the madness starts again tomorrow!

    Good Morning everyone!

Lots of challenging times people are going through at the moment. :( Keep strong everyone "When I'm worried and cannot sleep I count my blessings instead of sheep"

Yesterday I broke open our Terramundi which wasn't full but had lots of the old £1 coins in it. It also happened to have quite a few £2 coins in it and on closer inspection I found 2 of the coins to be ones that are collectibles - Charles Darwin an Charles Dickens coins :) I'll be keeping those and the rest will go off to the bank to deposit into the holiday fund later this week.

    Today's list comprises of;

    - Figure out what to make the teens for dinner tonight. Will not be going to the shops so it will be what we've got in already
    - Hoover and dust my bedroom
    - Find some new eBay items to list...still didn't do that yesterday
    - Put one lot of washing on
    - Ironing .... ugh this is one job I really hate!
    - Get a workout in later at home later on
    - Re-use the terramundi that I broke the top from to plant some herbs in. I have coriander seeds at home so will plant those :)
    - Get onto Swags and complete some surveys

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Hi May Marvelousos,

It's my day off. :heartpuls And it's raining hard.

Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Going for a swim at the Open Air Pool to test out my ankle. DW will drop me off and go hunt for cheap sandpaper. If the ankle is behaving I may walk home.

    * DW's mini greenhouse has arrived. She has to assemble, treat and paint it herself. We managed to order it from a supplier a bit cheaper than Homebase. It's components currently in the kitchen as three days of rain are forecast. And she has seedlings in the Study, obviously.

    * Checked the Broadband allowance.
I'm quite excited: Because we live near in Timbukto to get internet at home I have to have a 10MB and a 15MB contract and switch SIM cards part way through the month. This costs £31 and has really been our only option. Last night I was reading I might be now able to get 40MB per month for £24 and get a new, free "box of tricks" to make it work into the bargain. Have been trying to get onto the online chat system to discuss it but the queue is very long so I think we'll go into the Store when it opens at noon.

    * Clear out an shred unnecessary paperwork from our home admin archive. The briefcase/folder we use is bulging.

    Onwards and upwards.

Sending hugs to those going through a tough time at the minute.
LaE I hope u are doing okay
CCL is it the same naughty torty that u had to take to the vets? I don't know how u managed with Ofsted in around this time of year. Alot of my family are teachers, including my DD and DSIL who are in melt down with exam season alone at the minute. Look after ur self, sending hugs
Abit of strange weekend, haven't had the best of sleeps and don't really feel I've done anything
Missing kitty now hone wasn't great Friday night, she still looks very run down, but on the positive front, has a great appetite including the extra snacks of chicken she is getting. The other cats will be looking like barrels-they think Christmas has come early with the extra chicken treats.
Don't seem to have got much done this weekend.
Items are doing well on ebay, they're due to finish tonight, will get them ready for posting out tomorrow.
Going to get some washing on, nice day out
Need to go out for cat food and pick DD up at the same time. Planning to go when Mr Ts do their YS reductions
Going to run the hoover around
Planning on getting an early night with the radio, a good book and the furbabies.
Have a good day everyone x
