Many thanks again everyone for your thoughts and kind wishes re: missing kitty now home.
It's heartbreaking to fuss her and just feel her skeleton:(. But everything going well, lots of tlc. She is alot less jumpy but exhausted, doesn't look so scruffy and has got the sparkle back in her eyes:) She had a sore with part of her mouth swollen but that has started to settle down nicely but she is very subdued.
Managed to have a lie in this morning which was very much needed:j.
Cat cleaning all done and dishwasher unloaded.
Had a spendy day yesterday, stocked up on cat food while at Mr Ts and my DD and I went halves to buy some cat food for a donation to the local animal shelter which were really good with us.
Determined to have a NSD today.
Do have paperwork to do, plan to get that done later when I do my daily leg elevation routine.
Plan to get some washing out, basic housework done and just enjoy the day.
Going to have a cuppa now and update my spends book, dreading what it will look like after yesterday
CCL just think not long now till the summer holidays. I think we all get a dip in mood and motivation sometimes, but cake and celebrating ur mum's birthday, have a lovely day, but u can't beat abit of cake:), always solves alot in my world.......probably why I need to lose some weight:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Afternoon all, the sun is out here

I have sawn the top and bottom off of the water cooler bottle, boy, that plastic is thick! At one point I thought I must look just like one of the opening scenes in casualty, hmm, daft bird with various power tools designed for straight edges trying to hold a round thing while she drills/saws through it, what could possibly go wrong? :rotfl:
I have repotted Auby and swept up (the horse chestnut tree out the back is losing its blossom, that stuff gets everywhere!) and sprayed one of my roses which has tiny green caterpillars eating it
The climbing rose I planted last year is covered in buds and my peonie has 15 buds which is the more than in the whole 8 or 9 years I've had it.
Lunch was jacket potato with cheese and tonight I'm going to bingo with my mum but until then I have another mountain of washing up to tackle!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Afternoon all

Sunny this afternoon but was really cold again earlier
I will be so glad once this cold / windy snap has ended!
Car booting this morning, and apart from some bits to sell on, I bought a nice gift set with lots of moisturisers for £2 and got salad veg much cheaper than the SM :T
Apart from that:
Very early dog walk
HM meals, annoyed though, I went to make coleslaw and the cutting disc support thing for my trusty old Magimix has disappeared - can't find it anywhere. OH swears he hasn't seen it /put it in a stupid place (when have I heard that before ). So I have had to order a new one (disc support thing, not Magimix ) which is more than £14 that I could have done without spending
Anyway, onwards...
Needed bread, not enough time to wait for the BM, so popped to the corner shop. Boring bread, but at least no temptation to buy anything else! £1 only spent.
Listed lots of things on ebay
Sold 4 things so far this weekend, but only 1 is paid for so far, so that is the one I will be packing this evening!
Printed out forms for my Post Office Drop and Go account, to avoid the Monday morning queue in the Post Office
Watered the seedlings (triffids) in the conservatory, which will be going out as soon as this cold snap finishes!
Still to do (though whether or not it will get done this evening is anyone's guess!):
Bit of housework (dusting and tidying)
Sow some more lettuce seed, lettuces very disappointing so far, though I have rocket / mizuna leaves to use
Still to start OH's tax return....0 -
Since my last post
I have had a 2nd interview for the job who's hours I am not sure about and asked if they would consider 30 hours over full time.
Had call to see when I am available to interview for another role so hoping to find out an interview date for that.
Applications still going in and I made a list of ones to complete early this week.
Been up to Lincolnshire to collect some freelance work for my Dads business.
One eye on the budget and seem to be doing ok at the moment
Shopping list and meal plan made for the week, no excuses really! Off tomorrow morning.
Continue Freelance work over the week.
I really want to do some exercise this week, I will aim for swim and to walk as many places as possible.
Weather depending, I have a pram and cot to sell but need to get them out and give them a good clean and photograph them and freezing cold, drizzle as put me off.0 -
Today went pretty much as expected. I spent more than I intended at Mr M, but all on lovely ys goodies that I will definitely use. The only full price stuff was indeed the milk and the cake - which was yummy

Always nice to see my mam and have a catch up - just wish that the kids were better behaved when they were there. I'm tired, and ds has been a bit challenging today as well.
Did my secretarial duties for ds football team, prepped lunches and lunch money for tomorrow where needed.
Just one round of blanket to go :j
FvD - I love a game of 'guess who will be the casualty' - I would definitely pick someone sawing a water cooler bottle :rotfl:Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Late post so more about what I've done than left to do but still keeps me to account
hope you're all ok. Glad foot seems to be on the mend ally
Today I have:
Frozen some ys teakcakes and garlic flatbread from yesterday's shop
Used lamb stock cooked from last weeks joint in sc for stew
Used treacle tart filling left over from last on DH made to make another. Been lurking at back of fridge for too long, but I'm working on the basis as it's pretty much all sugar - I'll hopefully survive :rotfl:
Batch cooked burritos for DH lunches at work, used last of sweet potatoes that had made camp at the bottom of the freezer and grated half a frozen chilli in for a kick
Made marmalade cake in BM using basics marmalade
Dried 2 loads of washing outside
WM and DW on ready for cheap leccy tonight
Made DD sandwiches for next two days and got yogurt out of freezer
Used gym membership and did yoga on YT.
I still need to order some contacts on line for the first time, have read martins info on this already and then I'm going to do a yoga stretching session and search for a possible wedding outfit online, will check out fleabay.0
