Afternoon all

Thanks for starting the thread CCL
Happy hols DNMS
For me today:
Load of washing done, and out on the line to dry Managed to get it in before it rained again!
Watering in the garden - it rained a bit overnight, but not enough for big things in pots or my minaret fruit trees at the back of the raised border! Neighbours must have thought I was bonkers though, as I was stood there with the hosepipe and it was still raining a bit - nothing new there though :rotfl:
Did a cooked breakfast as a Bank Holiday treat
Just jacket potatoes, grated cheese and salad for main meal today
Listed / relisted items on ebay - more to do! Done
Sold a few bits today though
And a couple more - one item has already gone to the local shop to be collected by the courier tomorrow morning
Found some more items to list tomorrow, if I get time
OH repurposed an old metal ammunition (?) box from his workshop as storage for the shoes in the conservatory. This looks much tidier, as it fits under the table out of the way. Better than shoes kicking round the floor in there. I swear they multiply, they are mainly OH's and he seems to have more than Imelda Marcos!
Walk dog later Done
Bit of ironing  Oops not done
Checked banks
Had a bit of a tidy up, putting things away etc
That will do me for the day I think!0 -
I'm hoping by joining in and making a list it will keep me focused.
1 All meals from freezer and cupboards.
2 Minimum of 3 nsds this week.
3 Meal plan for the week and only get what we need.
4 Pack at least two more boxes for the move
5 Decluttering my bedroom in preparation for move.
6 Enjoy finishing work early this Friday. If you dream it can you do it????????0 -
I'm off work this week so I intend to get a fair bit of washing done so I can get it on the line if the weather stays fine.
I shall be preparing the garden for my tomatoes and veggies and look at getting the plants.
I planted some flower seeds (butterfly and bee friendly) at the weekend so hoping those will grow - they were freebie seeds.
Hoping to do some decluttering, garden tidying, and ebaying some bits this week, and also do some batch cooking if I get a chance.
I shall also be walking more so I won't be taking the car everywhere this week so save money on petrol.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
Mortgage free since 2014

Hi everyone
Good to hear everyone's plans.
I've had a good wee day really.
Made pancakes for lunch - good use-up lunch with cold meats and antipasti.
The house is starting to look a lot better thankfully! Slowly getting there. D'washer, WM and TD have all been on full pelt! Also got clothes on the airer and hoping they'll be dry soon/tomorrow so I can put them away...
I might look for something to crochet later as not made anything for a while.
Also ordered a discount card (work's scheme) so will save 10% on kitchen tiles and paint.
Right, best get off - lots of love guys!0 -
Well I have been busy since last week!
- Applied for around 20 jobs everything and anything
- 1 interview lined up but I don't think I can do the hours as it is a 8am start, but I will go for practice.
- Seeing an agency tomorrow, so we will see what they say.
- In laws came to visit so cooked at home I have left overs to use up tomorrow.
- Been out today for lunch used a voucher and we were with friends so we had a lovely time.
- NSD days the rest of week.
- Benefits application have gone off and information, so hopefully it will sail through.
- Made a list of jobs for the rest of week.0 -
Evening all
Well. I've had most of the day to myself. I've watched snooker, relaxed and crocheted like mad! The kids were both out and about with friends for most of the day, so we didn't go out for dinner either. Still not finished my blanket but only 1 and a bit rounds left to go. Sounds doable, but there are over 800 stitches in a round so it takes a while.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

CCL Thank you for starting the thread this week.
DNMS Have a great holiday.
DawnW My OH is the same with shoes, he has so many pairs and they are so much bigger than mine it makes the problem even worse.
We spent the morning trying to make some order of our house, we concentrated on downstairs and it feels much better to be in. All the seats in the living room were cleared as well as both the kitchen and dining room tables. This afternoon friends visited and brought homemade cake to share
Not much to report DFW today except it was a NSD and all meals were from stores.
Things are still very much up in the air here at the moment my sister and family still don't have anywhere to stay on a semi-permanent basis, this weekend they have spent in a local hotel, but no idea where they are staying tomorrow  they have 3 children and the 4th is due in 7 weeks. We at least have beds here they can use, but they don't want to outstay their welcome.
I have yet to catch up with everyones adventures last week, I might do this tonight when I go to bed.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
One income, home educating family0 -
Evening all, hope you are enjoying your holibobs DNMS
We had tortilla chips for lunch with melted cheese and a tin of Mr T chilli on top. It's so quick and easy to do and always goes down well with the teens.
Dropped two packages to Hermes pick up shop.
Bought a pack of seeds (night scented stocks), two tomato plants (trailing yellow-fruited ones) and a pack of lime flowered nicotiana. That is officially IT for the back garden now, there is no more planting space.
Sorted through three boxes of clothes my mum has given me for the table top sale, I've separated them into tops, skirts and T-shirts. I took out a few named brand things which I may put on eBay instead.
I found a couple of slugs in the garden and I'm convinced they are breeding under the pallet decking (the rest of the garden is paved) so I sprinkled some of the molluscide granules over it then swept it all down the cracks.
DS and I shared a large cod and chips for dinner tonight then I did my first YS run in a week! I managed to get a couple of turkey steaks, some smoked haddock, blueberries, salsa and a Thai ready meal all at 90% off.
The washing mountain has been largely ignored this weekend on account of me not yet putting away the clean washing from the last one, I've just put the first load of the next lot in tonight :eek:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Morning all

Up early, and I have already had breakfast, put the bins out, walked the dogs and listed 3 books on ebay (go me!) :T
Still to do:
Visit sales unit and put in some new stock (plus it is payday :T) Done, bought lots of stuff back, listed some items on ebay and packed all away
Post 5 ebay parcels :T Done
Two more items have sold since, and I have already posted one, in a recycled jiffy bag and using RM surveys stamps :T
Collect parcel from sorting office (probably much needed new duvet set :j) Yes, it is the duvet set, and I am very pleased with it. It wasn't expensive, bought from a company I hadn't dealt with before
Small shop needed Done
Pay in a few bags of change to building society, if they will accept it They were happy to, £16 added to my ISA :T
Make chilli for dinner, ensuring that there is enough for another meal as well
Done, loads left
Walk dog again, unless OH volunteers OH did this
A bit of housework - it is not bad at the moment, but I don't want to leave it and have all to do at once
Not much done - swept the conservatory floor and did a bit of dusting
Did a small amount of ironing :T
Check if anything needed in the garden Didn't get out there today
May start tax return  as I now have all the documentation needed. I like to start them early, as I will have OH's to do and DD2 to help with hers
Can't face HMRC today
Check for surveys
One for Yougov and a couple for onepoll
Listed LOADS on ebay, which is a total bore, but I was on a bit of a roll, so got on with it. So I am not being hard on myself for not looking at the tax return or doing much housework
That should do for today!0 -
Morning, hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend. I ended up doing nothing productive at all yesterday, which was well deserved after my weekend of working crazy hours and having little sleep. I’m feeling refreshed this morning and ready to tackle my massive to do list. I have dinner plans with a friend later, however she is known to cancel quite often so I think I will go to the cinema if I’m not meeting her. Hoping for a chilled out, catch up on my to do list kinda day. Today’s plans:
• Check bank
• Check lucky phone / Ashleigh / number plate lotto / FPL
• Surveys
• Update challenges – PAD / make £20 a day / NSD / grocery challenge
• Update spending diary
• If going for dinner look for deals/vouchers
• Get petrol
• Check cupboards before writing shopping list
• Stick to shopping list in Asda
Have a fabulous day everyone!
