The table top sale was a disaster, there must have been more sellers than buyers. I made £10 (whicH was more than others, the woman next to me made £4 and the one opposite £1.40!) The pitch cost £5 and I bought a microwave with the other fiver which doesn't work

Lunch was a mystery freezer package (which turned out to be curry) atop a jacket potato.

I started photographing stuff for eBay but then my phone ran out of battery.

I have planted my trailing tomato plants in wall baskets and the nicotiana where the deceased salvia were. I don't understand what happened there, I have two window boxes end-to-end at the back of the pallets and there were 7 salvia plants in there plus one in a pot elsewhere. The one at the end is the biggest then they all go down in size like a little salvia Mexican wave until the last three which were dead. I Thought at first it was to do with light but the dead ones are at the sunniest end. Anyhow, it offends me to have different plants at either end but I can't afford more herbaceous stuff in those numbers so it will be bedding plants all the way from now on in there, I think. I am gearing up for some p,ant musical pots soon so I may put the remaining salvia into pots and just buy another tray of nicotiana for the window boxes.

I am eating out courtesy of Mr T tonight so won't make the YS meet tonight or tomorrow but I stocked the freezer with 12 packs of raspberries last night (half price, not mega cheap.)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

    Good Evening All

HK - Great news on the kitty being home

Very overcast here today but dry so we managed to spend quite a bit of time in the garden, we took an hour or so off when DH's sister and brother on law came over.

    Checked Bank & made PAD
    Baked - Oat Biscuits
2nd coat of paint on shed
    Started painting fence
    DH finished borders with sleepers
    Entered a few comps
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Checked: Lucky Phone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL

Relaxing now with TV and hubby, DS on a sleepover at his friends, all this fresh air has made me sleepy.

    Have a great weekend all.

    Hi all

    Glad the cat is home!

Lovely day on the bikes yesterday with a cake stop (DS1 treated us). So a day getting stuff done today which includes paid stuff. I dont really want to do paid stuff but hey ho, I need to catch up on the hours.

Oh and we sold a tent on ebay after much dithering about whether it was even worth bothering listing it so they are collecting that today. The money is going towards a new bike rack which we need.

    Right, on with some work.

    Hi gang

Hope all is well and abundance is flowing your way. :)

So far this morning I've enjoyed a few of life's finer things:
    - free kindle first book - amazing true story about WWII - very humbling about what the human spirit can go through!
    - meditation - free 15 mins of bliss :A
    - free coffee - at mum and dad's house

I set mum up with a smart phone this weekend - my old one - she is so happy with it and her GD sent her messages last night now she is a cool granny on whats app so she is pretty happy. We've also gone through some yoga together - she has parkinson's disease so I've given her an amazing gentle sequence she needs to do every day for 8 weeks. I'm going to whats app her every day to check she's done it!

I also got M&D travel insurance. They were really worried about it with their various health issues - mum hasn't been abroad since she got diagnosed with Parkinsons. Dad was filling in the form saying that he was sure it was going to cost about £2k as they kept having to click 'add another condition'... I told them I found them a policy for £849...but I was obviously only joking and it was really only £49. Ha ha, I am such a bad daughter, but it was worth it to see her laugh afterwards. :rotfl:

    Happy Sunday everyone!

    Hi May Marvelousos,

    It's my day off. Hurrah!

Hope everyone, their livestock and pets are ok.

Don't know where to start so I'll add to this list as I go along:

Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two: (very nearly Three!)

    * Checked online banking and found DW had accidentally overdrawn the Food Account. Sorted this out right away. Luckily it's a free £50 emergency overdraft.

    * Keeping a very close eye on Broadband allowance. Did the SIM shuffle.

    * Read news online instead of buying a paper.

    * Bit cross because I bought myself a piece of inexpensive jewellery and three weeks in I've lost part of it. I'll look around and see if I can find it at home but if I dropped it in the great expanse that is my workplace it's gone forever.

    * Find some free things for you folk.

    * Registered with Nectar Points Canvass. (Link) You complete surveys and earn Nectar Points.

    Onwards and upwards.

    News

PlusNet prices are going up. How to beat the hikes. (Link)

UK mobile users travelling in the European Union could still face hefty additional fees of about £7.80/GB to use their data allowance – despite a much-touted EU 'ban' on roaming charges coming into effect this summer. (Link)

There's no extra spending as I would be buying there anyway and often no minimum spend. There's also 250 free points for linking your Nectar and eBay accounts. (Link)

Hello everyone, hope all is well.

La escocesa that's really nice that your Mum's enjoying her new phone. My Mum is the same but won't get a mobile yet although she's always amazed with what technology can do these days. They also thought my Mum had onset of Parkinsons but they are just keeping an eye on it for now.

For anybody who's interested, there is a great app called Headspace and its really for those moments when you need to slow down and de-stress. This app has quick 10min meditation sections along with others. Here's a code for 1 year free: GSAFH1Y

Well, I was hoping for a NSD today but no such luck. DD decided last night that that she must get her holiday shopping for clothes done today. She's also off to NCS. For those who haven't heard of NCS, it's a 4 week programme funded by the government (although you do pay a small contribution towards it) where kids go off to camp, volunteer, play sports, etc etc. They stay away for the first 2 weeks and then stay closer to home the last 2 weeks. So she needs clothes for this programme like leggings etc as she'll be getting muddy!
Anyway, that means a trip to Primani this morning.

On that note, here's today's list:

    - Try and not go mad and spend too much in Primani
    - Tackle the mountain of ironing
    - Complete some surveys
    - Try and add some more items to Ebay

That's all folks. Enjoy your Sunday :T

    Morning all :coffee:
Reporting a minor dip in mood and motivation this weekend. Not really sure why but I don't feel great at the minute.
Bagged a nsd yesterday even though I was mad busy for most of the day. Today will not be a nsd as it's my mam's birthday and I want to buy her a cake on the way over to see her. No, I have not made a cake as it's her birthday and I don't want to punish her :p
Today's plans are to finish a blanket
Not to spend any money other than cake and milk (which people keep using the last of without telling me )
Get dd to do her share of the housework (surprisingly ds has done his)
    Visit my mam :D
Try to remain calm and get an early night.
    Bit boring aren't I?

HK - how is the cat doing?
Ally - how is your leg?

Ally - how is your leg?

Thanks for asking. I can walk on it now if I'm super careful, although I am trying not to. Am planning on going for a swim in the outdoor pool today...well not so much a "swim" as a "wallow", no actual using the ankle. And the sun is shining.

Thank Smurf the pain has gone.
