roy ~ the first thing you need to do is calm down. Whilst I can totally understand your grievance and frustration with some posters your anger at the situation is blinkering your ability to follow advice.

The third party company CANNOT make a deductions to your earnings withut going through the court system to do so ~ so there must be more to this.
You MUST contact the relevent people to sort this mess out. You cannot just say its not down to you because you expect it to be right in the first place ~ thats no how life works.
Whilst I am 100% behind your basic complaint they way to solve the problem is not *sod it, I'll claim the dole* (which you have been told more than once you wont be able to do for 26 weeks if you jack in your job, regardless of what you think the DWP should think.)

There is also the issue of your Tax and NI. Unless you have a very low tax code then your figures are simply wrong and you need to get onto your employer asap.

Please, grab a cuppa, take a deep breath and then help yourself to sort this mess out.

The csa CAN get an DEO without going to Court.

    Here is the tax calculator:

Roy- Who are you dealing with at the csa?

Roy - not having a go at you, but having just opened the link, it's example is someone earning £35,929.60 GROSS per year. Total deductions are just a touch over £800 per month.

IF you are earning that ( I know you are working overtime ) you come out with just over £500 per week.

    Have you been re-assessed recently?

Point taken. But as you are aware, the CSA do not need to employ third parties to get an DEO.

Have you even read this thread?
Of course I am aware they dont have to but if you read what the OP actual problem is he has 2 AOE's, one from the CSA and one from a 3rd party DCA!!

    I'm sorry i'm a bit confused:confused:
What have you paying tax and NI got to do with the CSA? Tax and NI are contributions to society ie street lighting, rubbish collection, schools leisure facilities, pensions etc. CSA payments are contributions to the cost of bringing up your children. The two are completely seperate issues

Yes you pay NI and Tax and also pay for your legal obligation in bringing up your chldren but the fact that you also have huge monthly arrears to pay off would suggest that this was not always the case. Also the fact that the CSA passed teh arrears to a debt collection agency wouyld also suggest that you were not compliant or cooperative in paying back the arrears with the CSA.

From the figures you have given it would seem that you obviously cannot manage to pay that amount per month however what have you done to resolve it or compromise?? You admit to having the arrears so the fault is surely yours for having racked them up in the first place, not the governments, CSA or the debt collection agency. Unfortunately the onus is on you to pay it, the question is how?

Things dont have to be through the csa, you give then 200-odd quid a month but your ex doesnt get that, she would get whats left after csa's admin fees etc are deducted.

err what admin fee's the only fee is that the nrp's emp are allowed to deduct £1 per deo deduction. The csa done have admin fees but there is talk of it when c-mec comes into force.

I wonder what the level of arrears are to have had to go to a dca. In my opinon (and I've seen it) dca's tend to give the nrp more leyway over the amount of money deducted.

A dca can tdo a deo without going to a court. They will have tried to come to a agreement with the nrp and if he defaulted then they would have attached it. Its the same procedure as the csa. Its just that the dca people are on comission for the amount of csa money they get in.
