Such awful news about Manchester. Targeting a concert that attracts kids is just despicable.

Well done Kaz, Starry Eyed and Shiprob on your losses.
Hugs on your gain Lantanna, but good on you going back to class.

Thank you for the chart Shala and well done to SaverUpper and Bubbs on SOTW.

Tete, I hope your ankle starts to feel better soon.

Work from home day for me today, which isn't ideal on weigh in day, but really going to try my hardest not to screw up all my hard work over the last week.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt
    Lunch - prawn salad
    Dinner - HM pot noodle

    HA - milk
    HB - none
syns - none planned, but taster night tonight at group

Terrible news about Manchester. My thoughts are with them too.

Today's plan is a Green day:

    B - 40g Honey Monster Puffs (low sugar sugar puffs! - a newish HEB:D - HEB1); 100ml 1% milk
L - HM spicy carrot & lentil soup (using up the LO carrot & bean mash from last night) plus garlic, onion & spices); bread
D - Stuffed aubergine (from the current magazine); followed by rice pudding (HEA2)

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - milk for breakfast and in rice pudding
    HEB1 - 40g Honey Monster Puffs
    HEB2 - bread

    No syns planned

Well done on another good loss saver-upper.

50 members is quite a lot, but I suppose they need decent numbers to make room hire and stuff worthwhile. The thing is some classes won't get high numbers what ever they do because of the location. Do need consistency for members though. I believe my leader only started in the autumn, but thankfully she is really good. Just hope she stays a long time.

Never been to a class but 50 seems like an enormous group size to me, and I'm an ex-teacher! :D

I've just made some of those bacon muffin cup things I see everywhere - bacon medallions in a muffin tin, filled with beaten egg, mushrooms, spinach and cherry tomatoes. OMG - delicious!! Will definitely be doing those again!

So back at class. 1.5 on for me then this week which lets face it is good considering what I've ate and drank recently.Nearly didn't go to group in fact nearly went to KFC instead. Thankfully I didn't. Hopefully I can turn it round this time.

I'm sure it was far better for you going to SW rather than KFC! 1.5 is fine considering what you've had since the interview debacle. You could fit in a couple of SP meals if you wanted. I sometimes do it by accident with omelette and salad or pickles. Whatever, we're behind you 100%. Go for it!!:A

The groups I've been to seem to start a second group if they get over large. I'm sure 50 is lucrative but it's hardly practical unless loads weigh and go. Whether consultants stay seems to depend on their personal circumstances. The one I got to target to used to do 2 in a morning and 2 the previous evening. She did that while she had 4 children. She was on maternity leave when I got to target. When her youngest went to nursery she's given up the morning classes and got a 'proper job'. Other groups I go to have settled consultants who perhaps don't need the money so much so just happy with a job a couple of half days a week and some covering for holidays. What I have noticed about them though is they can let the weight creep back on themselves so not a good advert.

These days I just find any group to fit in with whatever else I'm doing. Generally I just weight and go but sometimes I'll stay from curiosity to compare consultants.

I may be a bit egg bound by the end of today, but here's the plan!

    EE menu:
B: NAs grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 boiled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese and pickled cabbage
D: SW egg and chips with tomatoes and mushrooms
    Syns: none

I go to a group which has over 100 members coming through the till but probably only about half stay usually, apart from when there are tasters then even less stay, LOL! I think it's where people can't be bothered to make something and then feel embarrassed to stay because they haven't bought anything! Our consultant always says when she says about tasters that it's not compulsory.

She has already had to open a 2nd group Thursday morning after mine as there were far too many people - think we were up to 130+; but apparently her 1st Monday night group is by far her busiest but no idea how many go to that one but I know she's said before that the queue is often out the door and through the car park! Glad I don't go to that one.

As I'm not going to group this week I don't have to make anything but before I'd got my hospital appointment I'd planned on making some SW friendly millionaire's shortbread (found a recipe on Slimming Eats) - it's not something I'd make for just DH and I but thought it looked good to try for a taster session. Oh well, next time!

Change of plan! Just reread the recipe for the stuffed aubergine and needs HEA mozzarella so no rice pudding tonight:mad:; Won't be using a full HEA as used 100ml of milk this morning.

    HEA1 - milk in tea
    HEA2 - 100ml milk + some mozzarella
    HEB1 - 40g Honey Monster Puffs
HEB2 - bread - had one slice with soup will have other this evening, probably spread with quark to save syns
