You rant all you want wiz:). I'd go and nag the life out of the doctor to see if alternative medication is available. He shouldn't be dismissing you.

Meal plan and shop done for the week. I noticed Aldi had an own brand 'Frylight' today. I think it was called Spray Light in almost identical packaging for (I think) £1.39. I think it's too new to be online yet. At the moment I've got plenty of Frylight in stock but hopefully the Aldi one will be free for when I need to buy some.

Wiz Definitely see your GP again and insist on a 2nd opinion if he won't take you seriously. If you feel you need to lose weight that should be enough - (s)he should not just dismiss it out of hand. There are plenty of alternatives for most medication.

Maman Had a look on the SW website and the only spray I could see for Aldi is Solesta spray with olive oil (10 ml serving) 1 syn. Is that the one?

The SW dressing I made for the potato salad was lovely - I didn't have the fresh herbs they said to use (mint & chives) so used some dried mint plus some fresh basil - I only have basil and corriander fresh at the moment).

    It's a yoghurty dressing:

    150ml FF yoghurt
    1/2 tsp mustard powder
    2 tsp cider vinegar
    S&P to taste
fresh chopped herbs (mint & chives)

Add everything into a screw top jar and shake to mix.

Shala - Another one for the recipe list perhaps?

Thanks for the dressing recipe denise. I really like potato salad.

No, it's not the Solesta. This is definitely a new one, packaged to look just like Sunflower Frylight in the yellow and green cartons.

Maman - I should have said you can stir some chopped spring onions through it as well if you want to. I did which gives it a bit of a crunch. Should also have said it's best to add the dressing when the potatoes are still warm!

I suspect the oil spray will be synned the same as the 2 cal sunflower oil spray from Tesco. I'm convinced that SW have deals with companies such as Muller and Frylight.

The way I see it I have no option but to take the medication so if it means my weight loss is not the best then so be it.
