    :T always happy . That's a good loss.

It's difficult when you have synful food to use up. The way forward is to have some HM ready meals or shop bought low syn stuff in the freezer. Bolognaise is an obvious one but lately I've enjoyed Aldi rogan josh.

teddy if you have time to post your menus on here we'd point out any problems straight away. Your consultant will be helpful I'm sure but it's after the event.

    Afternoon all..

So it was a 2.5lb gain for me last night :(completely expected! Now just need to get on with getting it back off and then some. I really do struggle with it all but for health reasons it's a must - we have some heart issues in the family (Dad was mid-40's with his first heart attack/bypass) - so I have to try to lose otherwise i'm definitely setting myself up for a lot of health issues down the road..

Our Consultant last night gave me a "for and against" list to fill in for a bit more motivation, thought i'd share the idea here as it may help anyone else out there that is struggling (if you want to share on here then please feel free but keep it private if you want).. i'm going to sit down and do mine later. She said when you look at most of the "against" items they look a bit silly or like excuses in the long run and it makes you more determined to carry on.

A massive high is that my BMI is now classes as normal & no longer overweight. I am really pleased with that :D

Well done on your losses Ruthy, Bubbs, Missili, Tete, Alwayshappy and Chocolate teddy

Hugs piglet, so sorry to here about your cat xx and belated birthday wishes.

Wiz, are we putting a 0.5lb, 1lb loss or a sts for the week? Don't be disheartened, you haven't that much to lose so it will come off slower now, but as long as it's coming off then it's a win!

Need to go to the hairdressers (just to get my hair washed and blow dried - feel like a celebrity - i'm never been for just that at a hairdressers before!) but i'll pop back in a bit and finish catching up! Denise, i'll add your scotch egg recipe to the front page too :D don't let me forget!

    - 1LB for me this morning.
Really pleased with that as I've not had as much speed as I should although everything else was good.
Busy cricket weekend for us if the weather holds, not sure it will though as the skies are gloomy.
My favourite 2CC's salt and chilli chicken and noodles for tea and I've got some rose wine chilling in the fridge.
    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Thanks for the chart, shala, and well done bubbs for SOTW (1 x here and 2 x at class - wow!:T:j:T!).

Welcome to all newbies and congratulations to all losers. :D

Had a lovely birthday (with maybe a smidgeon too much cake - I took cupcakes into work...high in syns but my thinking was that they were a definite measurable portion size...but when I got there, they had also bought a large chocolate cake - oops! :o). However, fast forward 24 hours and I had a really horrible day - had to take my elderly cat to the vet to be put to sleep. Didn't feel like sticking to SW on that day, so ate what I wanted...and it had syns...and I didn't care (and still don't!).

So, weighed in this morning and had ½lb loss, and I'm happy with that, because it has been a pretty difficult week, one way or another, and a loss is a loss, right?!

    Tomorrow's plan is as follows:

B: Cheese (HExA) omelette with mushrooms and tomatoes
    L: Leek & potato soup
D: Hunter's chicken with carrots, leeks, mushrooms, asparagus and celery - bit of an odd collection of veg, but its a case of "fresh veg that needs eating", and its all speed, so... :p
    HExB: probably a hi-fi bar

Have a great Friday, everyone - its nearly the weekend! ;)

Thankyou, sorry about your cat i know how i was:(:(
    Belated Birthday wishes xx

Reporting in with a STS this week.

Piglet - happy belated birthday, sorry to hear about your cat. (((hugs)))

Bubbs - well done! How much have you lost now?

Well done to everyone reporting in with losses and commiserations to anyone (else) that needs them. I haven't got any social events this week so I'm going to give WW my 100% commitment and also increase my BM. I've downloaded a pedometer app to my phone so I can record all my steps.

Happy Friday everyone - it's nearly the weekend - yay!

    LL :)

Good morning,I am a bit disappointed this morning it's not quite 1lb and I have really tried.

I have even been on my stationary bike ( I can only manage 10 mins with being disabled but at least it's something and I only walk slow but manage between 800 steps and 1,000 most days.). :rotfl::rotfl:

I am wondering if my medication has anything to do with me not losing.
I take tablets for my diabetes and for Blood pressure , and one for iron.
About 12 per day.plus any pain killers..

Hope everyone else has done well big hugs from me you all x :)
Sorry you are struggling:( do you take Metformin? 12 months ago i didnt take any tablets now i take , diabetes x twice day ,blood presuure, folic acid ,vit d x twice a day and something else i cant spell:rotfl::rotfl:
I would go back to doc if you feel its the tablets
    Hello all,

Lois - that must be so frustrating with WW! I didn't get on with it at all last time I tried but that was when you had to count all the calories in fruit and veg. SW just seemed so much more straightforward. Fingers crossed for third WI lucky!

Fingers crossed for you too Lantanna!

Well done to all the losers, particularly Ruthy - whatever your opinion on BMIs that's a great milestone to see! And Bubbs, you're on a roll!

Piglet, happy belated birthday and so sorry to hear about your cat. My girl is 14 and I've really started to notice her ageing recently. They're such a part of the family and leave a big hole when they go xxx

Wiz I'd say it's very possible your meds are hindering you (no medical background whatsoever BTW!), have you thought about seeing your doc to discuss alternatives?

I'm over the moon to report a 3lb loss this week pls Shala. I've been very disciplined this week so it's nice to see it paying off. Any loss at all will take me to my lowest of the year so that's a good incentive. And I'm now back in the minus numbers for the challenge - phew!

Plan for today - staying on plan unusually for a weigh day, because I'm having lunch out tomorrow and also I don't feel the need to cheat myself today - must have turned a corner!
B - Leftover smoothie from yesterday, only had half as it was so filling with the oats in, so that's 4 syns and half HEB
D - Sweet potato Austrian Hash with two boiled eggs
T - Chicken stir fry with 1 syn teriyaki sauce
    HEA - Milk
HEB - Oats, chia seeds and flaked almonds in smoothie (half) and will sprinkle a few pine nuts in my stir fry (1 tsp = half)
    Syns - Sugar (3), smoothie (4), teriyaki (1), hot chocolate (2) = 10

Just wondering what I could have for five syns as a treat ... I like those Hula Pufts for 3.5 but multipacks are dangerous :o

    Well done on your loss:T:T

You rant all you want wiz:). I'd go and nag the life out of the doctor to see if alternative medication is available. He shouldn't be dismissing you.

Meal plan and shop done for the week. I noticed Aldi had an own brand 'Frylight' today. I think it was called Spray Light in almost identical packaging for (I think) £1.39. I think it's too new to be online yet. At the moment I've got plenty of Frylight in stock but hopefully the Aldi one will be free for when I need to buy some.
