:T to topgirl and ruthy. We seem to have had some really good losses this week.
Sadly not for wiz and beanie.:(
What would you hope to achieve by having a break? I know some say that it can shake up the system then start afresh. How long would the break be? Are you craving things full of syns? Sorry to be so nosy/bossy:o but I know if I go off plan it's invariably with things that aren't healthy unless in moderation.
Do let us know if you find any WW errors lois. Is there anything on the website where you ask questions/check your meal plans? I'm cross on your behalf especially as you said you felt hungry. It has to be worth persevering.
Hope you have a day clear of any mishaps MrsR. When is your WI day?
Good to hear you upbeat and keeping busy lantanna.
Pleased to report that the casserole is clean and shining. I left it soaking overnight and DH used a bit of elbow grease on it this morning. It's a stainless steel one so it didn't mind the rough treatment.
I'm going to have the same lunch as yesterday as it was delish. And I've stuck to my (at least) 2 fish, 2 chicken plan to keep processed/red meat to a minimum. I didn't even buy any ham this week. Will do next week's plan and shop later.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, fried egg, HEB toast, tomatoes and mushrooms
L: JP with veggie chilli, cottage cheese and picklesbaked haddock, herby mash, tomatoes mushrooms, green stuff
Syns: weekend wine:D0 -
Maman, no your'e not nosy or bossy. I just give in with an odd piece of bread or a couple of s/f sweets. Or I decide to not have a meal I have planned I have a meal that is probably too high in calories i.e. A lazy meal like cereal and milk, or a couple of crumpets.. lately ,I haven't wanted to eat a meal I will just have soup or a bowl of Chips S/W of course, and a battered fish. perhaps a couple of biscuits . So, then I am not eating enough.
I am really fed up, each night I will say, I will stick to my plan what I have put down, and when tomorrow comes, I drop back to the same old thing..
Can't be bothered. All I can say is that I can't really want it enough or else I would do it. I just can't get motivated..:mad::mad:0 -
Maman~~for me I am just going round in circles.
I was at a function last night & lets just say first frock I was going to wear was a tad snug.
So dispirited.
No one else to blame but myself.

Well I hung about for ages this morning hoping for a loo break before WI but it wasn't happening so I'm having to ungraciously accept a 1lb gain this week - thanks Shala.
I must admit I haven't been tracking everything properly this week but I didn't think I'd eaten that badly (actually just remembered the McDonalds so maybe I did!). Must get my head in gear and do a proper plan and shop tomorrow, get some fresh fruit and veg in. Tonight is pasta with speedy bolognese and no wine even though I really want to, because I'm running ten miles in the morning. Half marathon coming up in three weeks!
Sorry to hear about your result Lois, as others have said, perhaps it's the change in regime and you'll see more next week?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Tete - my consultant often suggests just writing down your syns on a piece of paper and it seems to help people. Sometimes some in group "forget" whether or not they've had their HEA/HEB for the day so she suggests they also write down those as well. Worth a try?

My first weigh in today and i was thrilled to have lost 3 1/2 lbs..., which has left me feeling uplifted and motivated, until my oh made tea and i realised the syns in puff pastry
, oh well, I enjoyed it. Not having it again though. No other syns used today so not too bad, and i did only have 1/4 of it.
I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -

I do have a little book, I need to be stricter about writing everything down. I've taken to grabbing a little handful of nuts between meals when really it should be a little handful of apple!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
You're certainly happy tonight always happy . Well done! :T
I feel for you both wiz and beanie . If you did decide on a break, we'd miss you but welcome you back with open arms when you're ready. What I'd hate to see is you gaining loads after all your hard work. It happens.
beanie , my mum was overweight at my brother's graduation. She hated the photos and it motivated her to join WW with her neighbour. Fast forward a few years to his wedding and she looked fab. I have the photo in my sitting room now. Why don't you use your miserable experience with the dress that didn't fit last night to spur you on.
wiz you're so close to target that you 'just' need to stick with it for those last few pounds then a bit of yoyoing won't matter. You know it makes sense (for your health).
Go girls!! :A0
