well I was having an ok day until I ate 2 iced fingers from Aldi :/ everything else has been on point though.

Shopped Friday/Saturday and got loads of good food in and off to the butchers for a slimmings pack of meats (syn values worked out by local consultant)

    plan for Monday:
strawberries and grapes with asdas yummy rhubarb and vanilla yogurt
lunch: cous cous with free ham, cucumber, beetroot, cherry tomatoes
tea: not 100% yet I think maybe sausages from the butchers (2 for 0.5 based on nutritional values and ingredients) with salad

snacks; melon and mango which I am going to cut up shortly.

I got some batchelors cous cous packs for the £1 shop - anyone know the syn values? and also a pack from asda which is coriander and lemon flavour

think I am going to go and join the gym in the morning

    Hi all,

Went to group yesterday and had gained 2lb! Was still within my target, but only just.

For anyone that's at target, do you get people saying "go on, you can have treats now you're at target!" Been to Buffet Island today which I enjoyed, but am going to draw a line under it all and get it off again.

Have got a Wondercore exercise machine and plan to get on that more and do this!

    Speak to you all soon.x

I am not doing a good job just now, mojo has vanished - and I've not been looking for it.

SW group leader posted this - it's me to a 't' at the moment.

Do you go to Group? or are you doing SW at home on your own using the thread as your support?

Do you have up to date books as that's where you'll find all the necessary information. But to help with what you've had today:

Tomatoes are Speed - as are most fruit and veg - not sure but think there is a list near the beginning of the thread with a list of those that aren't.

Chickpeas are Protein as are eggs.

To make it a "good" meal you need to have at least 1/3 Speed food to protein; so as long as at least 1/3 of your plate was tomatoes then it was a good SW EE meal.

If your plate was at least 50% tomatoes then it would be an EESP meal.

As you say the best course of action is to plan your meals in advance so that you have enough Speed food over the day. It's not always easy to get 1/3 at every meal but at least try to average it out over the day.

Also don't forget to have your HEA and HEB each day plus some syns. You should have at least 5 a day up to 15. Some of us on here don't actually follow the plan exactly as it should be in that we have 105 syns over the week but best not to do that until you have got your head around the whole plan.

    Good luck.

    Denise

I have not got the time to go to a group. I did to SW 28 years ago...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am taking simple routes this week..... tomatoes and beetroot! lol

Is it so wrong to look down at my stomach after one day and say... why are you still so huge!

The 2 lb gain will be due to all that muscle you are putting on, keep smiling x
