WI in half an hour. Not looking forward to it, as it will be bad, but I need to know how bad, and get inspiration for the week ahead.

Up to 7500 steps so far. Would have been more, but it was absolutely tipping it down at lunch time.

  • Sorry I haven't posted my weigh in results for last week or this week (weigh in Monday). I've stayed the same, which is a bit disappointing but I've been on holiday so sort of expected...

Chin up WJN - keep going.

Had a lovely time thanks Bubbs! Went to a few off the beaten track things including the catacombs which were fascinating and creepy!

Quickly came down with a cold after writing my last post so couldn't be bothered to make a proper lunch after dragging myself round the supermarket, had a mugshot and HEB bread for lunch, and just made a huge spag bol with 25% mince (5% fat) and 75% Quorn, full of onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, carrot and courgette. Should have at least six portions for the freezer so well done me. Now I'm going to wrap myself in a blanket and sniffle on the settee.

This one is as good as any http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/slimming-eats-kfc-style-feastbut I don't soak in the buttermilk but just boil for a few minutes. It looks revolting but works and no syns! It's actually a really good website for SW friendly recipes.

DH has never moaned when I make it:D

What was the sauce Beanie?. I always find the ones made with yoghurt curdle when you cook with them. That's what happened when I made the summer veg lasagne from this month's magazine. Looked revolting but tasted OK but binned the LOs as didn't think it was worth freezing for another day. Certainly won't be using yoghurt in a sauce again!

    Denise

Yes it was the sauce & when I looked at the ingredients I think it was the greek yoghart.
