We've lost a few people this week, is everyone on half term hols and I missed it? Lois? Tete? Lantanna? hope you're all alright x

Thank you for the chart shala moo.Yes,it was school holidays last week.Normal services were resumed today :D.

So went to group tonight ,and had a 3lb loss :j:j.
Am really pleased (and a little bit shocked) .I hadn't been walking to school (holidays) this week, and didn't think I had done anything different this week, than last week, when I lost 1/2 lb icon_rolleyes.gif

    Today's menu:
    Breakfast:2 slices toast (HEB+3),Flora light (1 syn),and Marmite

Lunch: omelette with cheese (4 syns) and onion
Normally,I wouldn't have had lunch at all (wouldn't have had a full lunch like this if I was working, anyway).I try to eat as light as possible after breakfast on weigh-day.I know they say you shouldn't ,and especially since I don't weigh in til nearly 6pm.

Tea: chilli con carne (tinned tomato, garlic, onion),sprinkled with cheese (2 syns),creme fraice (3 syns),served with rice

Snack: 2 Hifi bars (6 syns)

Have had skimmed milk in cups of tea (HEA),and
2-3 glasses of water (can't remember)

Well done bubbs, gts and shiprob on SOTW and thanks for the chart Shala.

The chart cheered me up a little. I am still 1.5lb down over this challenge (although that might change at WI tonight), which aint great, but if I gave up, like I kind of feel like, then it would def be a gain over the same period.

Clocked up 8700 steps yesterday, and although not totally on plan, it wasn't a bad day.

Today is another day on a course, but started well with fruit and yogurt before leaving the house, and have been for a walk and already up to 3700 steps. Hoping to be about up to my 6000 target by the end of lunch time.

Got in to the training centre really early, as I needed to get to the station early to get parked, so going to spend this time now planning for the next week, including body magic planning which is a first for me.

Even though it hasn't been a great week eating wise, I have actually managed to get one week towards my bronze thanks to the fitbit, and being inspired to walk more.
The number of steps is important, but the low number of active minutes has really made me think about not just walking, but walking faster.

D: Not sure but it will be syn free :o

HEB Maybe a Hifi and some dried Apricots

Hi Shala, I gave myself a bit of a holiday. I sprained my ankle two weeks ago and was so fed up before my half marathon that I ate loads of rubbish, then I was away for the weekend (though was sensible and didn't run), then I was home for three days then away again this weekend in Paris and I just thought I'd relax a bit and stop putting pressure on myself and start again when I get back. I had a lovely time in Paris but all the walking was tough on my ankle, and the limping and over compensating means I'm aching pretty much all over. 20,000+ steps three days in a row though!

Feeling a bit better after less walking yesterday and a good long night's sleep last night. Not sure what the plan will be today and I need to do some shopping, but the weather is minging so I might do something hearty like soup.

Hope everyone else is well, sorry I've not had time to catch up on two weeks' absence!

    Congratulations to our joint SOTW!

Well done Kathryn on the extra walking - that was a great total yesterday. Hope you can manage to keep it up. I don't do anywhere near as much walking as I used to when I was working. I only used a pedometer in the office and not the rest of the day and used to do over 12000 steps! including lots of walking up and down stairs. I worked on 13th floor and my teams were on 14th, 12th, 10th & 4th! so quite a trek when I needed to see someone in each team. Probably don't do more than a couple of thousand a day now but haven't measured recently.

Wow Saver Upper that was a brilliant loss this week. I've never lost that amount in one week!

Tete - hope the ankle is feeling it better now and you can soon get back to running. Can't say I blame you not having been able to catch up with a couple of weeks posts - this thread moves so fast!

Just totted up my syns for the week and I am at 100.5 so far (including today's planned syns) have just 4.5 for tomorrow, which is definitely doable. Not really expecting any better than a STS this week but that's fine as I'm still in target range.

    Today's plan:

B - fruit, quark, sprinkle sweetner (as strawberries are a bit sour)
    L - tuna mayo & cucumber sandwich - HEB + 1
D - butchers chipolatas; mash, veg, syn free onion gravy. May also do some roasted onions & peppers (1 syn)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - mayo 1; chipolatas 1; glass wine 7

Well done to the 3 SOTW, well done Saverupper and thanks for the chart Shala.

Bit of self sabotage went on yesterday involving a cafe breakfast and a large bar of chocolate. Line well and truly drawn for the rest of the week.
