Of course not Calling14, I've given you a number
Didn't get a chance to check in yesterday, not a NSD as I bought a watering can.
Today has been a NSD 2/16. I've had a fairly productive day off so far - went for a run, cleaned the flat, did some gardening, washed the outside of the windows and did some baking, scones and chocolate brownies. Planning to relax for the rest of the day.
Need to check my payslip for weekly job to see how much I'll get on Friday and then I'll be able to work out how much I can pay towards the debtMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Productive day. Lots of cleaning and cooking. Even tackled some of my son's bedroom but that's going to take quite some time to clear. He's a hoarder and just doesn't seem to see the mess:( Downside - I was too busy to mange a walk.
Made a huge cottage pie for tomorrow and some to freeze for next week plus a big bolognese sauce for freezing.
We were given a TV by my son's friend. He's a student but couldn't take it back home when he left for the summer yesterday. I wanted to store it for him but he said he'd buy a new one when he comes back in the autumn. It's only 7 month's old.
Today I'm grateful for:
Such a kind gesture from a lovely lad
Getting all the washing washed and dried outside
Peace to watch some TV that's not football since I'm in by myself at the momentHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
nsd2
Aching from yesterday but still managed to walk to and from school the long way (35 mins each way).
Trying to remember how to have fun of a weekend without spending - I think mainly visits to the park?
Yoga tomorrow, really looking forward to a good stretch!
People sounding more tranquil on here, which is good
Anyone got innovative ideas for ' fun with a 4 year old for free'?0 -
NSDs - 03/20 - Managed to sneak another one in.
Go outside - Did 2 lots of pup walks today. BF sprung it on me at 6am that he had to go to Wales for work & wouldn't have time. Grass had been cut sometime this afternoon so was smelling lovely during the pm walk..
Daily gratitudes - Little girl (with her mum watching) asked very politely if she could pet Duncan, was very pleased she knew it was best to always ask first before petting strange pups.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Today I am grateful for dropping off 2 bags at the Sally Army and thus clearing a little floor space, for finding gf df choc reduced to 20p per bar (bought all 9!), for discovering that Card Fact0ry is as good as I have read, for dh's eye pressure being reasonable, for dd enjoying her tennis/badminton club, for getting a few niggly jobs done.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Forgot to post last night - fell asleep, completely drained after work. It's hard getting back into routine after two weeks off!
I haven't yet managed a NSD but I'm hoping tomorrow and Friday will be NSD so I can at least bag a couple this week.
Gratitudes
I'm grateful for flexible working, the ability to build up my flexi and leave early/take a day off when I have enough hours. I am also grateful to the OH for making a lovely meal tonight.February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
NST no. NSD 4/150 -
I had planned to have a NSD today, but my son put a spanner in that. He wanted a lift home from school and was SO hungry that we had to stop off on the way home and buy a quarter pounder from the local takeaway. Apart from that, didn't spend anything.
Today I have been through the freezer and made a spreadsheet inventory of everything (we have a chest freezer and a fridge freezer). I have worked out that I can make so many meals from the contents that I wont need to buy any dinners this week or next. Shopping will just be pet food, milk, bread etc.
Dog has been walked, tumble drier still not used and just had my energy bill and our direct debit is going down for the third bill in a row. My nagging about switching things off can't be falling on deaf ears as much as I think :j
Savings have been added today for the 365 day penny challenge.
Today I am grateful that my son no longer has 'booster' sessions before school for maths and English. Getting him there at 8 am has been a nightmare (he's not a morning person) and I'm also grateful for the support of friends over the last few weeks. My son has been having some tests done and people have been really helpful and kind....
But still only 1 NSD........0 -
Evening,
Another sunny day up in Scotland. And my 2 NSD of the month.
Unfortunately we didn’t get out this morning as the little one went for a long nap but I took the opportunity to buy a toy storage unit from Amazon, paid by the use of gift vouchers.
This afternoon we walked to the library, returned two library books and took another two out. Walked onwards to attend a free baby class and walked back home later on.
The walking paid off as I found 21p road kill which has been added to my change pot.
Listed one of the little one’s toys on a facebook selling page for £10, have had interest already and someone is supposedly coming to collect it on Sat. We’ll see if she follows through!
Plan for the rest of the night is a cup of tea and a read of my book.
Today I am grateful for: all the free events run for pre-school children in my city, the little one going to bed early and having a day free from washing clothes.
SkintTeacher – not very innovative but could you do a treasure hunt around the local park? The treasure could be a treat from the ice cream van or something similar. Could even get the little one to make a wee pirate hat/eye patch to get into character!VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -
NSD 1 for me
Spent £2 out of the already drawn out spends for little man money. Went to our local toddler group and you get brew, juice, toast & biccies.
Mum took little man for the afternoon and I painted the garden wall. Second coat tomorrow whilst he's at nursery. Will do a tip run if I get time too.
Got hairdressers tomorrow so not a NSD but no other spends.
Skintteacher A lot of the museums near here have free kids stuff going on. Bingo walk - make a list of stuff to spot when you're out.
Today I'm grateful for:-
The lovely weather
Getting the chance to do some garden work
Having tea already made from leftovers1 debt vs 100 days -
